Every couple of days I'm going to post who do you like better this wrestler or this? I will post 4 wrestlers and you will vote on which two you prefer you like
I will also do a separate one for tag team.
Eventually it will get down to a winner
Like I said this will be done tournament style

I was going to say Power & Glory and The British Bulldogs, but that would not have bene true as I never saw the Bulldogs work as a tag team during the 80s. So with that in mind I have to go for Power & Glory and Lance Story and Justin Credible as I saw them wrestle many times as a team.
I am not someone that thinks Power & Glory ever could have been tag team champions over who we had at the time. However, they were pretty cool and their finish was amazing, the timing that they had with it, especially Roma with that splash was great.
The Impact Players were a lot of fun, I ate up most of what ECW did during this time, plus the extra eye candy that came along with them did not hurt me as a teenage fan at the time at all. It may not have been a super long run, but they caused so much damage and you never knew when they were going to strike next.

I think they would have been more credible interim champions between the Hart Foundation dropping the belts at WM7 and LOD winning at Summerslam. If you put Power & Glory up against those two teams I think you get stronger title matches at both events, especially in a no-holds barred encounter at Summerslam and Bret could have done more with Roma in the ring than with the Nastys. The Nasty Boys with Jimmy Hart at their side were more in-keeping with Vince's zany view of wrestling though so I suppose it was inevitable... |
