Ultimate Edition was my favourite line to collect giving me the definitive look for a lot of figures meaning I no longer needed multiple elites or sourcing accessories to complete a figure's look. Now I refuse to pay more money for a premium figure that feels like the legs could snap off the moment I pull them from the packaging. They look odd and I really see no benefit whatsoever in having them. Just wanted to see others opinion as I will no longer purchase ultimates after I received my Yokozuna and if anything the leg mobility is actually worse for having them.

They've ruined UE's for me. I just don't like them at all.

Yes but only if they retire toe articulation with it.

They don't bother me. Thankfully I haven't had any issues with them breaking. And that includes GI Joes and ML

I don’t really understand the difference. Yeah, it absolutely hasn't registered on my radar. I'll gladly take the drop down hips if it means they phase out the horribly dated ratched legs.

The introduction of the drop down hip are the worst upgrade I have ever seen on a figure. They just make the hips fragile by turning one large solid stem into multiple smaller articulated pieces. I don’t need my figure’s hips to drop down and clear the trunks/crotchpiece.

They are the reason why I've yet to buy an UE. I really want to get the new Vader and Gunther...but will probably end up passing because of this.

What's frustrating is some are worse than others, my bobby lashley roman reigns and hart foundation for example are passable (not ideal) but passable but then my RVD AJ Styles and Seth Rollins feel like they will snap at any time. Now I have to look at ways to fix them or just now revert back to elites

Ironically, I haven’t had any figures with this new feature. I liked them on SH Figuarts. The one thing that bugs me is the peg on the toe articulation. It’s an eye sore.

Yes, get rid of them along with toe articulation.

Drop down hips never work, not even on expensive import figures. Over time they always get loose and you end up with wobbly legs that won’t stay in the correct position, or worse, legs that fall off due to multiple little pieces used to create this feature.
Get rid of toe articulation as well. Another piece of articulation that most companies fail to implement correctly.

Get rid of them. I haven't had any break yet, but I'm friggin paranoid about it because they feel so fragile.

I asked this before in another thread, but it never got answered. With drop down hips -- does the figure start out looking like Piper on the left, then you do something, the hips drop, and it looks like the right? How and when do the hips "drop" down?
Or are these two totally separate figures?
