I watched the War Games match last night from Wrestle War 91 for the first time in probably 20 years. I forgot how fun that one was, and I suppose it gets overlooked cause of the following years War Games and how amazing that one is. But the 91 one is really fun to watch too!
Barry Windham was a bloody mess in this one. Pretty early into the match as well.
But I always wondered, what was wrong with Arn Anderson to not be in War Games that year?? They had Larry Zbyszko replace Arn in the match for the four on four but I don't remember why or how Arn was injured during that time.
Does anyone know what was wrong with Arn then??

Always will think of Sid nearly killing Pillman when it comes to this one  I'm blanking myself on Arn in terms of him missing the show here Edit- They say here on his podcast he was injured and not working house shows during this time. Didnt specify the injury |

Fun & overlooked War Games. I remember reading years ago that Arn was sidelined with a groin injury at this time. Sid had to work a couple of handicap tags on the house show loop because of it.

I have really fond memories of this, I had the VHS of this PPV as a kid and loved it. I would recreate the Doom vs Freebirds match with my Galoobs and it would more often than not take place in a steel cage!
