Since the other thread got locked please keep this one civil! When the rumors floating around and thinking about having HBK the exclusive, I immediately thought Mattel would just repurpose the entrance greats gear. After all, that's a very Mattel thing to do. Color me surprised when it's been upgraded and the stupid colors weren't on there and they are all silver/mirror like they were supposed to! I don't know about anyone else, but the OG gear did not stand up to the test of time. Stretch marks galore. Full entrance gear ✅ Knee pads ✅ Ultimate ✅ Those are the only things that I wanted in a new HBK ultimate and we got it. All the other minor things, torso choice, no title (for obvious reasons) KenBK head are minor and does not bother me one bit. Maybe could've have used the newer GH head as the begining serious scan with different pony could've worked. But again minor and I can live without it. Now here's all the pics! The Entrance Greats version was one of my first Mattel figures, so the UE is a welcome upgrade
That being said, I feel like this could've been a mainline figure, but whatever. I still like the figure. An extra $10 for it kinda sucks though for not a whole lot extra besides special packaging

I'm ecstatic over this being the exclusive. Looks great MOC and this attire and entrance gear definitely deserved the Ultimate treatment.
Not everyone is going to be pleased but I am and that's all I care about. 😊

I’ll probably end up buying one. Try to figure out the best way to hang from the ceiling. Give the extra post match head to the previously released elite. That being said, it is a very underwhelming figure for a SDCC exclusive. Easily coulda been pulled off as a mainline or legends UE. Just doesn’t feel special. Doesn’t even need to have pop culture crossover appeal. A regular figure is fine but something that you’d likely only be able to get as a convention exclusive. Like I doubt they’ll ever do UE Barbershop HBK. This woulda been a great place to have done that. Maybe a 2 in 1 and do nWo Shawn too.

All of everything about this figure is fantastic!
And HBK is nowhere near the top of the list of my favorite wrestlers. I have none of him in my collection and before this drop, I wouldn't have cared if it stayed this way. But I will be on Matty C. @ drop-time to (hopefully) get it!

As it's one of the last few iconic HBK looks that I don't have, I am pleased we are getting an ultimate version. I can't say I'm excited by it, though.

I think it's a neat choice! The packaging looks spectacular and nicely opens itself up to additional Wrestlemania 12 Ultimates! And ... I'd love to see other Wrestlemania-specific-themed packaging!
The figure itself looks great too! In my opinion, this is a much better selection than last year's Muhammed Ali non-wrestler!
HBK isn't one of my "must-have" guys and I'm currently in the process of needing to buy a new car (unexpectedly).... so money is an issue for me this month and I may need to pass on this one. But I'm glad for all the HBK fans and you never know, I might just change my mind & buy one anyway!

Great figure, just wish Shawn had seth rollins torso. That amazon u.e torso is too wide for ubk.
Also would love to see some 2 packs pf grudge matches like jakks bcas used to do.it would have been so cool to also have bret from this match at the same time.
