Got mine and opened him up. Sadly, I got the “Bow Legged Kid” variant. I can still get him in his signature pose with no issues, but standing straight up looks super wonky. I don’t know if I’ll do the exchange dance with Mattel or not. I’ll think it over this weekend.

Terrible bow leg on mine. The smiling head really needs to be retired. It might be the worst likeness to HBK ever. Mattel has the WM14 head sculpt…I really don’t know why they refuse to use it. We’ve seen design put new hair on existing face sculpts before…not sure why this smiling face gets used over and over when they have better options already tooled. This set really could have used a winged eagle and the harness. Why show the zip line harness on the figure on the back of the box but not include it?? A great figure, but some head scratching decisions like always from Mattel.

Just got mine. It's fine. I'd like it better but... My legs were also warped. One ankle is a lil loose. Mine also has a random blue dot on the leg. I can not get it clean. Cool, thanks. My hair down head had a gob of glue on the forehead. Of course that's the head I wanted to use most and the main reason I bought it. Cleaned it up a bit, but I still know it's there like Austin Powers looking at the mole. The zip-line is in a nice idea. But I feel like it needed something to hook around his waist or something for him to sit on. When I try to pose it, his arm can't hold the weight and slopes down too far to look cool. He looks like he's dead and just dangling there. The way the zip-line handle in molded, you won't be able to add anything to it without some heavy modifications. Not sure I'm willing to do that. EDIT: AND the stomach hair is printed slightly crooked, so it doesn't line up with that lil patch on the upper body.
HBK is probably getting a 6 out of 10. Punk got a 9 out of 10. My Steiners and UE MNW HHH will be here in a few days, I expect all 3 to get very good grades.

I tucked the end of the handle into his entrance vest thing. I worry it's gonna warp it over time, but it's the most convenient/best looking way to pose him right now

Has anybody from the UK had their order dispatched yet? Still nothing for me either, I was around three weeks wait after release for the Headbangers and the Piper set too. I preordered them all when they went live at the time.

My set got delivered yesterday and when I ordered it I wasn't sure if I was going to open it or not but mine came with two tears and a crunched corner to the outer box as well as one of the extra hands floating around in the box, so that made my decision an easy one and I opened it up this morning. Luckily mine has zero issues with the legs and the paint app is super clean, so besides being a little disappointed in the condition of the box I'm very pleased with how this one came out.

Got mine. No issues with legs, paint or anyhring like that. It's a fine figure.
But it does feel underwhelming for an SDCC exclusive.
The zip line cord mine came with is only about a foot long. I know I can buy this stuff for pennies, but come on Mattel, throw something longer and display-worthy in there.
And the pulley thing he holds is just two pieces of plastic that snap together. Feels cheap. Should have had wheels or something inside to guide him down the cord, and maybe some kind of mechanism to lock him in place?
