It’s absolutely insane to me that the company would be dead within five years after this. We all thought they'd be around forever lol I knew even as a kid that they would “lose” the war because I was a Stone Cold kid, but looking back it’s pretty crazy. |

They was always losing once 98/99 came around but I never thought they'd go under tbh. Very crazy. TNA is still around & AEW will probably outlive WCW...I'm surprised WCW didn't last longer. |

WCW would have lasted if not for the higher ups at AOL Time Warner not wanting wrestling on TBS/TNT at the time
If WCW could have gotten another TV deal with another station they would have been okay and still been around to this day.

I never saw this live and it was a friend at school who told me that Hulk Hogan had joined the Outsiders and I could not even fathom that it was true!

I had just turned 9 years old and it shook the foundation of our house on Bradford Ave.
Sometimes I wish I could have been born earlier to enjoy the glory days of Hulkamania in the late 80s, but hard to complain growing up in the heart of the Monday Night Wars. Incredible times to be an impressionable fan.

Exactly brother. I think they'd probably be at TNAs level right now or even NWA. I wish they was able to land many TV deals over the last 23 years. It would be amazing for em to still be here. |
