I have searched to see if this has been discussed before but can't find anything to suggest it has. I've recently got into figure photography and looking to do some in ring shots, I've not enough room for a scale ring and the basic/medium ring looks like it might do a job. Has anyone used it for photography, how does it look? Can you tell that it's a little on the smaller side? I do guess that it could be down to getting the angles right etc, but just hoping someone can supply me with something that will convince me it's a worth purchase.

Lots of people love the Jakks Hardcore Ring, if you can find that one. They did ringposts/turnbuckle sets too. Here's some shots with Mattel figures: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/244327I'd recommend that ring, or the one with the blue mat that came with a few playsets around 2006/2007.  AEW's non RSR is meant to be quite good too, I don't think that uses a spring ring base. |

Thanks, I might still have mine at my parents, will have to check one weekend when I go round but judging by your photos it looks like it could work! Will have to see if those turnbuckle/ring post sets are easy to get. |
