Hey guys, I have purchased a few Jakks Pacific branded toys over the years (2000-2007 in specific) and noticed on a rare occasion there will be a small white Quality Control sticker on the back of the package and on the toy itself (Bottom of one foot). Are these samples or very early production figures? Maybe from the first batch?
I have seen packaged Jakks samples before with this QC sticker but they also had an orange "Sample Not for Resale" sticker on it. What are your thoughts? I seen a few threads on here about them but they are 10+ years old. Hoping someone can revel some more information on these.
I emailed Jakks themselves with pictures and received a response that said
"Our products do include QC stickers and some samples include a label, however due to the possibility of high-quality counterfeiting, our inability to physically inspect the products, and other factors, we cannot confirm conclusively whether the products you are inquiring about are authentic."
