I really want it as a Sting fan it seems to be his best figure, however ever since it came out I've seen a lot of complaints mainly on Reddit, I've seen complaints on everything from the paint, jacket to the way it moves.
Is the figure really that bad or is it just a bad batch?

It's a figure of the year candidate for me, especially if you have other Stings and accessories. I gave the Supreme a tag belt and put the coat and cloth tee on the Walmart exclusive and popped one of the spare heads on the original Unrivaled. As far as quality, the paint and joints are great on the figure that I picked up so I think it's a good purchase for $40.  |

The only issue I have with it is the figure’s physique is based off a 60 year old Sting which makes sense as it’s a modern version of Sting who is 60 years old. Other than it not meeting my wants of being a Sting from 20 years earlier it’s still a great modern version of Sting. And in my opinion the figure is probably the best figure AEW has released.

I really like it. I've seen people complain about the paint on the heads and masks, but mine look great (the mask too). I was scared that his leg came off as I took it out of the packaging, but I popped it right back in and its been fine since.
I agree, I wish we could get a younger body for him, but I'm not upset about it. I've wanted this particular Sting for so long. If anything while I like the worn paint head, I wish it was done on a different figure or expression.

It’s worth it if you’re a fan. Is it a definitive Sting figure? Probably not for what most of us really want. The head choices aren’t bad, but the paint design on the neural and screaming heads would have been better not as stylized. The physique isn’t terrible once you move him around. My complaint would be that the arms are too small. Otherwise, I’m glad to have it. It had been a long time since we had a singlet Sting and who knows when we will get another.

I picked up mine today at Walmart and I love it!!! That jacket is fantastic and I have to say it holds its own against the best made before it.

I personally love this figure as well. One of my main-wants from the AEW line, and got really hyped when I picked it at Walmart. My only gripe with the figure is that mine has a loose right knee joint. I don't know how to fix that, and was considering leg swapping with another Sting I have only to realize I'd be losing the pinless joints if I do. :(

Might be the AEW figure of the year, don’t know why the complaints are, This figure to represent stings current run at the time, the body resembles of an current sting not to be for a prime sting.

My torso is kinda loose, but other than that it's good. The other 2 I saw had either horrible face deco or scuffed singlet deco

The leg fell right off once out of the box, and the torso was loose. Once I heated the leg it now stays in place when moved around. I also used some of my Kiki Fix on the torso and it is no longer loose.

I didn't know ppl were saying it was. For me it's a top 3 Jazwares figure. I've had issues with the supreme Cody where he just has one attire because the leg snapped out of box. Punk just feels stiff to me but no issues yet but I also haven't used him as much as I thought. I know there's some issues with Supremes but this thread has convinced me to maybe get one. |

its a great figure! i do love that its FINALLY not a Sting wearing a shirt figure, but as others have mentioned its a Modern era sting and us collectors are frothing for an ultra definitive STING figure that no one has provided us with yet. also as others have mentioned, i do wish all the head sculpts werent stylized in some way. the screaming headsculpt looks AMAZING but damn i really wish it wasnt just the end match faded facepaint look. and the other smirking sting headsculpt is in another sort of stylized paint scheme he did so we kinda miss out on that definitive sting look. i mean we have the ability to swap heads but as the Supreme figure package it overdelivered on softgoods and underdelivered in sculpting.
