Otherwise known as "your sh*t looks like it wouldn't break eggs" thread. Had a good think on this one today.....was thinking about talent that got really featured and pushed.
Lex Luger: I think Lex had a great clothesline but his punches were awful.....I've always thought it.
John Cena: Absolutely awful. They were a massive hole in his game...
Chyna: Shes fair game because She insisted on working with men but those f*ckin forearms she used to throw were absolutely dire...in terms of execution too. To this day I feel sorry for Henry, Jarrett, Jericho and whoever else for having to sell for her. Its a miracle Jerichos career recovered after.
Shane McMahon: Thanks Brain!
I cant remember now but I feel like I'm missing out somebody really big......have at it folks

Those Shane punches my GOD lol I liked his initial run when he had the thing with X-Pac going and screwing Austin at the Survivor Series, but I have hated Shane more each time he has come back. The way he is portrayed being able to go toe to toe with anyone, sometimes multiple guys at once is crazy! Plus his crazy and dangerous stunts are done purely to get himself over and make people see that he is so tough and brave, not to get his opponent or even the match over. I could never see him on my TV again and be fine with it. As far as the worst punchers go, I know this is the classic board, but I would put like 90 percent of the AEW roster on that list for kicks, punches, forarms and chops, the chops I am sure still sting, but they look like trash most of the time.

John Cena: Absolutely awful. They were a massive hole in his game...Yeah, his wrestling... He was pretty horrible at everything he did inside the ring: his bumps, the flying tackle, the leg drop off the top rope (apparently, he never watched Bobby Eaton), his finishing move, his STF, acting completely knocked out outside the ring then at the count of 9 he all of sudden gets up and leaps into the ring, Taking a DDT on the concrete floor then coming back to win the match over two guys... it goes on and on.

Shane takes the cake for me on this one. He was perfect as Vince's bratty son who thought he was everything. Taking those bumps early on showed his athleticism, but he at least didn't stand toe-to-toe with actual wrestlers like an equal - he usually had to have help, or he would just run when confronted by someone. The stuff he did later on, was just ridiculous. I thought I read somewhere that the locker room almost had a mutiny over the way he wrote himself in one of the Roya Rumble matches. He basically beat up everyone and lasted for a long time.

Yeah Shane is number one, but Dean Ambrose is a very close number two.

Yeah Shane is number one, but Dean Ambrose is a very close number two. Ambrose is a good shout, most of his stuff looks so fake which when your gimmick is being "hardcore" makes it even worse.

That one nameless Dark Order lackey who was "punching" Dustin. Swing and a miss!
Seriously though, Lex and Shane were the first two that came to mind when I'd read the title of this thread.

Lex always looked really uncomfortable punching IMO? Cue Stan Hansen publicly berating him during a match...it could be heard on TV according to JR. "Christ almighty son start laying your sh*t in before these goddamn people figure your f*ckin candyass out" Good awld Stan

Austin was very good with standing punches. But his ground punches after the Lou Thesz press were absolutely ABYSMAL. Couldn't even dent butter.
