As I sit here typing I am thinking of all the strides ROH has made this year:
- A closer relationship with Japan causing more guys to come over more often - Getting on VH1 with the Nigel lariat to Johnny Fairplay - Traveling to Japan for the first time - Getting a Pay Per View deal - Traveling to the West Coast and running shows in both Las Vegas and San Francisco - Misawa wrestling in early November - Countless fantastic shows and matches
The only bad thing they've had is their TNA being pulled, but they have filled in the gaps with guys from CHIKARA and making guys like Kevin Steen and El Generico as regulars. They were very resilient recovering from this move.
It seems to me like ROH just keeps getting bigger and better. Anyone else agree? Disagree?

The past few years have been huge for ROH. It seems like right after the Joe/Punk trilogy, the company just blew up. I think 2006 was a bigger year though. CZW fued, KENTA/Marufuji, Danielson's year long title run, Homicide's big win and the England shows.

I agree, but disagree.
I do agree that this has probably been their biggest year (with all the reasons you listed). However, I'm not sure if i'd say it's been their best. The loss of all the TNA guys really does hurt, and while I like a lot of the guys on the roster now....I think i'd take 2005-2006 ROH over today.

As far as the company becoming larger and more mainstream. That is absolutely true. As far as awesome matches and storylines.....definitely not. I miss the golden years of ROH.

I actually prefer the roster without the TNA guys. Right now I will take Steenerico over Joe and Homicide anyday. 2007 has been a good year for ROH but it is hard to say that this has really been the best.

match wise 05 is the best out of all the years... but 2007 has been the best year in becomming a bigger company

This has definitely been an amazing year, as far as progression as a company goes.

Wrestling-wise this may have been their worst year. The roster is just way too thin nowadays.
I guess you could make the argument that they got more publicity this year, but I think the same number of people still follow the product that were following it in 2005.

As progress for the company goes without a doubt this has been this year. However with concerns to product I'd say no.
In a way a bit similar to ECW only gets on PPV once it's creative peak appears to have passed, hopefully ROH can avoid the path ECW took

Might as well get that thought out of your head...
