Sorry in advance for the lack of pic. I got Survivor Series Bushwhacker Butch today from RSC and he’s got probably the worst case of giraffe neck of all time. Once the normal Butch head is on (or if you remove the clown wig from the Doink-Butch head) there’s a gap between the head and neck on the back that’s so big, you can see the stem plain as day. You can stick Solo Sikoa’s thumb right in that gap. I’ve got the head as far down as it will go.
Luke is completely fine. So I yank the heads off to compare them and it turns out that Butch has an incredibly long neck stem while Butch has a shorter neck stem, but the heads themselves are pretty similar in size and cavity deepness. I have no idea why they have different neck stem sizes when the other parts are identical.

I still dont have Butch, but my Luke has the longer neck peg and has the giraffe syndrome too. Its very frustrating.

I wonder if there’s some kind of running change and some of them have long neck pegs and some of them have short neck pegs. My Luke with the short neck peg came from Amazon and my Butch with the long neck peg came from RSC. I googled pictures of Butch and all the non-promo pics of Butch out of the package had giraffe neck. |

The Doink style head doesn't look as bad, but the actual Luke head is obviously way too high. |

Does dremeling the hole improve it at least? I don’t think there’s enough room in the head to go any deeper with a dremel. It’s an awfully small head. |

That’s exactly what my Butch looks like. But my Luke has a shorter stem and looks fine. There must have been a running change and some Bushwhackers have giraffe neck and others don’t. |

I've noticed with the last bunch of newer elite and basic figures I've purchased, they almost all have long neck pegs.

Not so much giraffe neck but I've had multiple ultimates lately where I've had to dremel out the alternate heads so they go on the figure. It wasn't a neck gap, the peghole was too small for the peg it was supposed to go on. It's been at least three of them but I can't remember which except that at least one of them was from a Sami Zayn Ultimate.

Bushwhackers have to be some of the worst releases as far as QC goes in recent memory. It's been so long since we've had Bushwhackers, it's such a bummer. Those mouths look awful, like they were drawn with a black crayon.
And no clue why Luke seems to be so easy to get while Butch is non existent. I ordered both at the same time and only have Luke while Butch is on back order. Makes no sense, especially since Luke comes with Adam Pearce's head, and if you really want him but not the other figures, you could just pop that head on any other suited BAF.
