Is the Netflix deal just to air Raw? Will WWE still remain on Peacock for PLE's and other content?
If so, this seems like the Netflix deal is extremely overvalued.
$5 Billion across 10 years breaks down to $500 Million per year.
That's $8.6 Million per episode of Raw.
I read that WWE has usually been getting about $4 Million per episode on their stations
Sounds like a bad deal on Netflix to pay more than double for Raw, when I'm guessing many WWE fans have already subscribed.

One things for sure Smackdown will get raided of their top stars.
Netflix will want as many big names as possible.

I’m sure WWE told Netflix they were gonna have Dwayne for the beginning of 2025

In the US, Netflix will be showing Raw. Outside the US, Netflix is getting all WWE programming except Speed.
Most shows that are produced for Netflix cost more than $8m for two hours of content.

How can Raw air live on Netflix though?? Tonight at the press conference, Triple H said the WWE can produce their product and hand it to Netflix to air. So does that mean Raw will be taped a day before or something??
If so, spoilers will definitely be put out to read and I can't see most caring to watch it then if it's not airing live on a channel.

They're just channeling it through Netflix just like any other station/platform, just like Peacock for live events. Definitely won't have a taped product for that price.

I think they've aired live content before.
The Roast of Tom Brady was one of them.

How can Raw air live on Netflix though?? Streaming platforms can stream live content 😂 WWE has been doing that for over a decade on WWE Network and then Peacock. Netflix also has the technology to do so.

it is insane that it has taken this long to be streaming live sports on subscription streamers in the first place. This will cause dominos to fall for a lot of other sports and the deal makes total sense to me
but I'm no streaming exec so what do I know

Honestly, as much WWE content as Netflix wants to get, the better.
My local cable company won't let you subscribe to Peacock unless you have an actual cable subscription, which I don't. So I can't watch anything live.
If Netflix is gonna buy out the remains of the WWE Network, that's awesome. Maybe I can access the content from there again, since I haven't been able to since they shut down the actual network itself.
