Hey guys, if you could just pick 2 Ultimates and 2 Elites for Sting which would you choose and why?? Here's mine 1 Ultimate  ![]() 2 Ultimate ![]()  1 Elite ![]()  2 Elite ![]()  We would need the Hulk Hogan tan for all of them except Crow Sting. |

I think they need to redo Wolfpac Sting. The fig we got was some fantasy attire hybrid of attire and a shirt he never wore. So that would be my top pick. Also we need that legends fig that was canceled. After that I’m good.

Imagine this Sting MOC in the Elite Legends packaging with the newly sculpted WCW World title wrapped around his waist. This. Give him a new torso and re work those bulking defining moments legs and boots. Throw in a trench coat and cupping woo hands. For the Surfer Sting, I want ultimates of all of his attires 😂. |

Starrcade 87 is a no brainer for me as the ultimate, the robe paired with the white face paint and gear are probably my favorite or his career
Though personally I prefer surfer Sting, I know they'd need an ultimate crow sting but I can't point to any specific event I'd want, I feel like his gear didn't change much so it'd kind of come down to the face paint. Id like to see the more simplistic face paint from his lost legends figure as one of the alternate heads alongside the more intricate ones from later on
As far as elites go give me his Starrcade 89 gear and bladerunner Sting. I know Jazwares is doing bladerunners sting but I'd prefer it from Mattel, especially if they can pump out bladerunner Rock

I might go for an ultimate crow version.
Mostly I don’t care if figures are elite or ultimate though and I’d buy a lot of different surfer sting attires

Whenever he does re-sign on for a legends deal I hope Mattel sees their past mistakes and churns out as many as possible. I like what they did when they got the Hogan license back, and I'd be okay with them going overboard for Sting like they did for Hulk. I like that they're really trying to drive out the Dudleyz and Kurt Angle as well now that they have them back.
So I'd want way more than TWO Ultimate Stings.

Ultimate Surfer Sting (I don't have a particular attire or moment I'd want but a Pink surfer sting would be sick)
Ultimate Crow Sting (starrcade 97, you did it as a Defining Moments so improve on it and give us more)
Ultimate Wolfpac Sting
and then I'd really want figures of some kind, maybe Legends line of...
Sting in a singlet from 1999
Sting WWE Debut
Sting crow debut
Any other surfer Stings

Just hope history repeats itself like with Hogan.
Mattel seriously fumbled the bag with sting more so than Hogan IMHO.

I do hate that both elite surfer Stings are in solid form jackets with fringe so that the arms are frozen in place. I want something similar to an ue macho man with fringe but cloth arms so it can be posed.
I didn't follow early wcw enough to pinpoint ppvs but give me all the surfer stings you can and an early crow look with more white face paint and thin lines on the eyes. Represent looking down from rafters and maybe something that looks like he is repelling from ceiling. Can I get a vulture accessory too?

He was missing facepaint detail, the torso and arms did not suit those massive tree trunk legs either. The bat also sucked. I personally want Mattel to give him a new wider thicker torso, create a new TALLER boot mold for his ‘96-98 run and actually paint the flesh details on his forehead, sides of face and neck. The other versions of Sting need their own boot molds, throughout ‘99 he wore medium glossy boots and later on those white ankle things. There’s so many different variations of facepaint, jackets, hairstyles and boots we could get to differentiate our Stings. If anyone thinks Crow Sting didn’t have any changes then every trunks Hogan is the same. Sting is my favorite wrestler of all time. Edit: My holy grail is a ‘98 Sting with hair past his neck, those weird padded shoulder singlet things he had, scorpion on chest, tall boots, jacket, in scale non wooden bat and a couple of expressions. It would seal my collection. |
