I was talking to a friend of mine who had been a long time wrestling fan with me growing up. He does not follow the mattel line at all and was really surprised that they made a figure of Who. He asked if there was one for TL Hopper and it made me realize if I bought Who, why not TL Hopper.
So who are those more obscure names you would actually want a figure made for? Ones you would actually pay 20+ dollars for and not let rot on the pegs. Not ones many have been clamoring for like Adam Bomb or Man Mountain Rock or Giant Gonzalez.
Mine tend to be Bertha Faye, Frenchy Martin, Damien Demento, etc.

Does wrestling gear âDangerousâ Danny Davis count? Iâd be up for him in the Legends line, with entrance jacket.

Mike McGuirk The Coach Sean Mooney Rene Goulet Jamison Oh I hate a lot of the "one-off" silly characters that the OP is alluding to..... But Jamison would be a Day One pre-order for me! How do we make this happen?

I was just thinking the other day how Rene Young got made. Commenrators and announcers rarely get figs and females at the time as well. And I believe Rene was just doing NXT and kick off shows when her fig came out. Like did Dean Ambrose have that much pull or did Bill have an Asuka level crush on her?

I think a Mordecai (Kevin Thorne) figure would be sick. In the all white attire. That was a pretty cool gimmick back in the day.

Anyone, star or jobber, that was from the '86-'93 Era is an automatic purchase for me. The ones that are hard for me to buy now are Attitude Era-Ruthless Aggression Era...Nothing about that Era pops. Its just same ol guys in same black tights/trunks.
So for actual names Id consider from the Era I shoot for, Brooklyn Brawler, TL Hopper, Freddie Joe Floyd, Rebel Dick Slater, SD Jones, Corp Kirschner, Boris Zhukov, General Adnan, Skinner, Jameson, any version of Lanny Poffo, Barry O, Iron Mike Sharpe (although my custom is pretty...Sharp!)
