Just curious what figures you all have personally passed on, or thought you'd get at a later date, that are now super rare/too expensive/unjustifiable purchases.
For me it's these 3
Brood Hardy Boyz (elite 2 pack) - didnt feel like spending the money when it first went up and been regretting it ever since, should have known they wouldnt stick around long enough.
Macho Man (Defining Moments 1 purple/white attire) - I actually owned this one originally but when I sold my collection the first time, I assumed it would be an easy get if I started collecting again. Twas not.
Kevin Nash (elite 16) - Saw it in stores and just thought to myself, I'll get that one eventually. It's Kevin Nash. Boy was I wrong lol.

The Legends Paul E. Dangerously. He's not as crazy as some figures out there, but more than I'd care to pay for a recent figure.

I saw legends 4 in the store back in the day and passed demolition, the model an akeem all ended their legends deals and I paid highest secondary market prices for them.
Also regret missing slim jim macho. Still don't have him.

The first few Legends series and Legends 2 packs rotted at a Toys R Us in mall I worked at and were clearanced out. I wasn’t a collector at the time so didn’t think anything of it.

I only ever saw 2 on the pegs and skipped both times. I'm sure this would be a great seller if rereleased again in the Legends Greatest Hits wave. |

Those were the first mattel figures I bought and then got rid of them a few months afterwards bc I didnt think they would catch on. Shame. |

Chief jay Strongbow when he showed up on the bay for 30 bucks right before he was cancelled only figure I've ever missed
but other than that Every single legends series and og defining moments figure I seen marked down to 2 and 3 dollars at Kmart back in 2011 or 12 even though I already had doubles of them all already at the time of seeing them
same goes for the ones that ended up at family dollar I think that was legends series 3
and Gabe's had legends series 6 I remember walking into one Gabe's and then having half of a aisle stocked full of nothing but the von erichs and Texas tornado for 4.99 each

Legends Rick "The Model" Martel. That figure sat in the clearance aisle of my local Walmart for months. Since he's no longer interested in being involved in wrestling stuff, I think that might have been our one chance at him.
