This year, I quit collecting Mattel figures. I've been collecting for 10 years but sold almost everything last week. There is only one figure that I would still buy and it's one I've been waiting on since the start. An elite Warrior in green. We had a basic but it's crazy to me that they haven't made an elite in 14 years. Of course, an Ultimate edition would be even better but I don't mind either. Is anyone else in the same position. Stopped collecting but would still buy one or two figures that they've been waiting an age for?    |

I don’t really collect anymore
I used to have hundreds. But I’m in the process of letting it all go. Except for rare exceptions, mainly for ultimates of people I really like and warrior/savage
I feel less bogged down, and it’s honestly way nicer to just have a few really premium figs on display that I rotate around when I’m bored

R.i.p mattel. Whatever these smaller companies are throwing at guys like him isnt more money but freedom to sign with whomever they want. However the deal is put together mattel cant deliver. Im really hoping a company like powertown can get om the grpunf. They remind me of the four horsemen when they starting making the goththropolis figures.

I’ve stopped collecting religiously a while back. I was just buying and buying to fulfill certain voids in my life. I’m really glad I got rid of most of my stuff in all honesty. I’ve remained with my Monday Night Wars collection and some figures here and there. I almost got rid of the ones remaining, but still undecided atm even though I just got the ultimate Eddie. I haven’t been really excited in a while in terms of collecting, but it also gives me time to do other things and save money.

I mostly stopped collecting in 2017, apart from Retros. I did buy the new gen ultimate ring set though, and UE versions of HBK (in red) and Bret Hart (in all pink I think). Plus most of the retros and knuckle crunchers.
There are tons of figures in the last seven years that would be dream pieces for me but I’ve mostly resisted. The Rock in shorts and Hawaiian shirt in the recent 3-pack is one.
