I am trying to get a double steal achievement, when I have bases loaded, but now I can't seem to get bases loaded. And can I do it in situational mode ? Cause I did it in 8th inning bases loaded default and it didnt work. At one time when I first got the game, I used cheats but disabled them right after, does that matter, because I got achievements when the cheats were on so I dont think it does.

Why with the bases loaded?

I'm not a great baseball mind... But don't you usually do a double-steal with a guy on 1st and 2nd, with 3rd base open?

I got it to work, but to do it, you need bases loaded, then you have the third basemen steal home and the second-third, and the first-second. They'll always try to throw the guy running home out first.

No because the guy at home gets thrown out so the other 2 are safe. It is hard but it happens every now and then in baseball especially on suicide squeezes.

No because the guy at home gets thrown out so the other 2 are safe. But why would you want your player to get thrown out at home? Wouldn't that essentially be just freeing up first base and getting an additional out against you?

They'll always try to throw the guy running home out first. I've already done it twice without the bases loaded, just with runners on first and second. I've done it with Ichiro on second and Teixeira (who is a slow runner) on first, and the other time with Dave Roberts on second and I believe Vizquel or Winn on first. They almost always try to get the lead runner... you just need to get lucky.
