October 7th: We are about to enter a historic month for ROH with a new World Champion. First, ROH will head to Las Vegas and San Francisco for the first time. Then the legendary Mitsuharu Misawa will come to ROH for a rare visit on 11/2 in Philadelphia and 11/3 in Manhattan. We already know that it will be Misawa & KENTA vs. Naomichi Marufuji & Takeshi Morishima in Philly. Misawa's match for Manhattan has been signed and it is a Budokan Hall level main event. It will be a first time ever singles match between two of NOAH's top stars. On 11/3 in Manhattan you will witness Mitsuharu Misawa vs. KENTA!!! This event is almost sold out. Get your tickets now at www.ROHwrestling.com before its too late. Should be a great match and I hope KENTA takes it.

While it's gotta semi-importance due to the GHC title, and I really can't complain as I'm not going.... ....but damn, even if it's not in the cards for him to lose, I'd have liked to have seen him interact with ROH talent in an ROH ring.

Wish he would have gone against an ROH guy, but i'm not gonna complain. I get to see Misawa live.....that's enough for me. Plus..... HARLEY ING RACE will be there, as well. What a show this is gonna be...

Eww. Why put him in a match we could have seen by watching a NOAH tape? I mean I guess it's cool he's coming in, but it would have been better to see him in a match with an ROH worker.
Oh well, I'm not going to bitch about it (anymore).

I guess everyone missed the point of the Misawa matches. Since he has never wrestled in the U.S. before him just being there is the big deal.

I'm just happy to see Misawa. I knew he was gonna wrestle one of his own guys so I'm not disappointed. Everyone there live is gonna love it anyway.

Looks like ROH has no ing clue what they are talking about, because KENTA has faced Misawa in a singles match before.

Looks like ROH has no ing clue what they are talking about, because KENTA has faced Misawa in a singles match before. ROH Logic. It's never happened in ROH, so it's a first. Kind of like the rematch of Dragon-KENTA, even though it was the third actual (1 on 1) encounter.

The only Misawa match in the U.S. I can think of is one for Pro Wrestling Iron. I'm not even 100% sure that took place in the U.S.

I'm pretty sure ROH mentioned their NOAH match. My point is they deemed it as the rematch, which would be spot-on, if not for NOAH promoting their match as such. That being said, you gotta think that ROH looks dumb or brilliant calling any Misawa match a first encounter. Considering this is his ROH debut.

I call dumb, sir. I have seen their first singles match, and it was awesome. They should build on that.
