Id say Sterling James Keenan and Davey Richards. I havent seen much of Keenan and though Davey is a superb wrestler, Im not sure he should be in the contendership for "Best indy Wrestler" just yet. Keenan is debateable. But Richards is an absolute must have.

Because then they wouldn't be the ultimate all around if not everyone is involved.

Because then they wouldn't be the ultimate all around if not everyone is involved. Sure it would. The NCAA tournament doesnt include every single college. The NFL playoffs dont take on every team. This is a playoff system. We are taking the top 32.

But to say they are the best, you must pick from all.
Because someone wrestlers on one coast makes them worse than someone who wrestles on both coasts? That makes no sense to me.
If they are the best, it doesn't matter if they only wrestle on one coast.
Fine, they must be active, but it doesn't matter where in the US the indy fed is. If they are good, you must include them.
And all of those are actually recognized. This won't be. No one is going to care if they are crowned WF's ultimate wrestler.
Why 32? You can get a play off with 64.

You can get a play off with 64. 64 would be too many. 32 is the right number. The fact that they only wrestle on one coast does lend to their ability as a performer. They would be getting more bookings across the states if they were an elite performer like Hero, Quack, Claudio, Davey, etc.

Well Whitmer for Keenan. Davey I guess should be in there. I say Pearce for PAC. Im not a big fan of pac, just never appealed to me honestly.
Does Tracy Smothers count as an Indy Wrestler? He does nothing but south indy shows, even if he has worked WCW and ECW.
He did work in the 'E for a small time as a jobber, so I wouldnt count him as big crapin the WWE likes, but he was pretty big in ECW.

What if they didn't want to leave that coast because of family issues or what have you. If they are good, they are good.

replace Stevens with Albright, and either Evans or PAC with Pearce just throwin it out there eh, I wouldnt trade evans. Hes one of the few indy guys TNA and WWE havent signed or looked at. He does a better job of representing The Cruiserweight/X Divison/Whatever you wanna call it, than people like oh say Hornswoggle or Jimmy Wang Yang. The only real WWE cruiserweight I can argue for being as good as other indy wrestlers is Gregory Helms, who is ing amazing in the ring (not as the hurrican gimmick)

I agree with everything you said about Evans, it's just that him and PAC are both the same flippy style, and out of the two, PAC is more well rounded, IMO, which is why I through Jack out there.
love your sig,btw

Thanks.
but Ive seen Evans more than PAC in live events, and Evans can really work the field. I mean he's worked ROH (where Ive seen him), and CZW (where ive seen his matches on dvd), and he can work both while keeping up the same pace of both feds. Since ROH is more of a Technical wrestling, and CZW is ultraviolent, the fact that he could work both and still look good says alot about him. Evans may not be the greatest indy wrestler, but he is one of the most appreciated. I think we should keep Evans up there. PAC is good, but Im not 100% sure hes ready to be in the catagory of "Greatest Indy Wrestler" IMO.

I'm putting Steve Corino, retired or not. Also needed the japanese talent, sorry. 1. Steve Corino 2. Nigel McGuinness 3. Austin Aries 4. Naomichi Marufuji 5. Claudio Castagnoli 6. Necro Butcher 7. Bryan Danielson 8. KENTA 9. Jimmy Jacobs 10. Mike Quackenbush 11. Chris Hero 12. Jack Evans 13. Kevin Steen 14. Rocky Romero 15. Jay Briscoe 16. Roderick Strong 17. Davey Richards 18. Go Shiozaki- a great unjustice, but just lack of exposure. 19. Mark Briscoe 20. Shingo Takagi 21. Drake Younger 22. Dragon Kid 23. Takeshi Morishima 24. Larry Sweeney- If I could see him wrestle he'd be higher up, he's above 9 guys on his super agent gimmick alone. 25. Delirious 26. Adam Pearce 27. BJ Whitmer 28. Brent Albright 29. Eddie Kingston 30. El Generico 31. Matt Cross 32. Jigsaw

Going from the original list I would say that the last three are very suspect to even be on the list.

You can post two polls at a time. Then, they will be deleted. Then you can post two more.
I don't want this polls clogging the board.

We can do 2 polls at a time and then have voting for 48 hours. Lock the polls and then I will setup 2 more. I hope you wont delete the threads, that way we can use them for reference if a tie breaker is needed. Also, I am not really seeing a big enough argument for guys like Whitmer, Pearce or Corino for that matter. I cant see pulling PAC, Evans or SJK for any of the above 3. CBT....I didnt put Japanese guys only cuz that would eliminate a lot of great indy wrestlers that most of us are familiar with. Besides, Japanese wrestling isnt indy. Neither is Mexican, etc. All Japan, NOAH, etc. are all big companies.
