What was the sports game that you had low expectations for, but you played it, and really enjoyed it? For me it'd be Tiger Woods 07. I find golf boring in general, but I played the game, and really enjoyed it.

I didn't really have high expections for The Bigs and I got it and it's pretty fun. Just good solid fun.

MLB2k7. I'm not a fan of baseball at all, but I enjoy this game a lot.
Also, if it counts, I'll say Super Mario Strikers (soccer). It's so much fun.

Probably Fight Night Round 3. I've never watched boxing, and the only other boxing game I've played is the Ready 2 Rumble on the Dreamcast. So when I donwloaded the demo in February 06, it was pretty damn surprising how much fun Fight Night is. It's still one of my most played games.

Fight Night Round 3 probably. I remember playing Fight Night Round 2 for Xbox and I hated it. I don't know why I loved Fight Night Round 3, but it worked.

ESPN NFL 2K5, easily..the main reason I bought it was the $20 price tag, it ended up being one of my favorite games ever.
