I have no idea which one I will get, but I'm leaning towards NBA 2K8.
I bought NBA Live 2006 and hated it. I couldn't stand all the camera angles.
I played NBA 2K7 and enjoyed it, their were a lot of glitches though. And some of the players (Like Tim Duncan) looked nothing like their real self.
So which are you likely to buy?

NBA 2K7. There is no contest. If you hated Live 06, you should have seen Live 07. It was even worse. The graphics in Live will be better, but the gameplay in 2K is so much better. Only an idiot at this point would buy NBA Live.

I didnt vote because NBA live actually looks really good this year. 2k...somethings I like, some i hate. But I have ps3 so there is a third option (NBA 08) which is very good.

Live was complete craplast year, where as 2K was great. If thats any indication, I'd say 2K8.

Same thing as the NFL. 2K Sports is simply better than EA at this point and time. EA really needs to take a year off from sports and regroup but thats not going to happen I know. I haven't enjoyed a NBA Live since 2004 I think. And even then I still preferred 2K.

For the last couple of years I always though the 2K sport games were so much better. I'm not a hardcore football fan, IMO, the 2K football series was so much easier then Madden to just pick up and play. I'd say get 2K, the reviews for NBA Live the past few years haven't been that great  |
