I'm looking for some DVDs to pick up with some decent deathmatches on em. I figured you guys are the experts and would know some good specifics. I'm not looking for anything in particular. Japanese, men, women...all good. I just want blood and violence. It can be actual events or best ofs/compilations. Thanks in advance.

Any of the older IWA-Japan DVDs would be cool. King of the Deathmatch ones are a must.

Deathmatches have sucked so much ass lately, I'm losing interest. But, TOD6, TOD:Fast Foward, and IWA-MS Double Death Tournament 2007 are good pickups.

IWA Deep South Carnage Cup 2006. One of the best top to bottom death match tournaments I have ever watched. The very first match is a razor wire board death match. It's avalible at Smartmarkvideo.com
IWA Mid South Double Death Tag Team tournament 2006. A really good tournament. each match seemed to top the one before it and just get progressively more barbaric, and considering there was an elbow drop off the top of a cage to finish the first match, that says something. It's avalible at Smartmarkvideo.com or by national DVD release (Best of Death Match Wrestling: Double Death)
IWA Mid South King of the Death Matches 2003. It is double the price of any other DVD, but it's a two night tournament and features some of the absolute best death matches I have ever seen in tournament format. Necro Butcher versus Toby Klein has to be seen to be believed. So much stuff goes down. Plus like 6 or 7 great non-tournament matches. The set is 7 discs in all, if you're questioning the $40 price tag for value.. smartmarkvideo.com
Best of Big Japan Deathmatches. They come in 1 disc at a time volumes, but they really are some of the best death matches around. I think there's six discs in all, but each disc is just $3.99. spam.com
keith_h's Big Japan Death Match Revolution comp. I don't even know if this set is still avalible, or where you'd go about finding keith_h any more, but it is one of my favorite DVDs in my collection. it's 5 DVD+Rs of the very Big Japan had to offer in their brightest time. watch guys like Ito, Abdullah Kobayashi, and Kasai still coming up while Honma, Shadow WX and others are tearing the place apart. Features 4 of the 5 matches that I would call "five star death matches"

If you have a FYE or any DVD store that sell wrestling, look for the "Japanese Hardcore Wrestling" volumes. They come real cheap with so much brutality.

Like Obo said, IWA MS Double Death 2006, awesome tournament.
I'd reccomend 2003 and 2007 IWA MS KOTDM too and CZW TOD 2007 (for Drake's performance alone).
