While most of the Indy community is well aware of the title change in Edison at the Undeniable PPV, that will air in the month of January.
I'm not gonna name the champion, since it's yet to officially air. But I do got a question regarding the former World Champion, Takeshi Morishima.
You see, back in February of 2007, during the Fifth Year Festival. Morishima beat Homicide and began a reign very unique in it's own right. A title reign that lasted till the 4th ROH PPV taping on October 6th.
See what I'm getting at is, would Morishima's reign be recognized as 2/17/07-10/6/07 or would he have a near eleven month reign from 2/17/07 (when he won the belt) to 1/??/08 (when the PPV airs)
I know the new champ has already defended his belt. But as shown on the "Man Up" PPV, they are keeping the PPV storylines intact. So a #1 contender has been crowned and Morishima hasn't lost the belt just yet.

i believe it will be reconized that he lost it on 10-6...because of the storylines outside of the ppvs

Alright, just wondered if like it were Smackdown. Edge could win the World title on December 11th(a tuesday) but the reign wouldn't officially start till the 14th when it aires that friday.
But ROH is slightly different, they only go by the event dates so it can be easily complicated when a PPV aires at a later date.

Thats because Edge winning the title air four days later on National TV, not two months later on PPV.
I dont get why ROH cant do live shows though.

These problems could be easily solved if ROH would just start doing live Pay-Per-Views.

Or at least start taping stuff later than 3 months before it airs

These problems could be easily solved if ROH would just start doing live Pay-Per-Views. They dont have the production means to do that, obviously.

Yeah, you gotta realize ROH does all of it's video effects, camera cuts, and commentary in post production. It's a whole other ball-game when you do that all live.

Yeah they have some issues now due to the PPVs but nothing that most fans of the product wouldn't see or understand.
