I have to say, i was very suprised to read this.
I was under the impression Sydal was in the TV Title ranks, and even wrestling Seth Skyfire, who worked ROH's Unscripted.
Apparently, Yesterday, he defeated Mike Kruel I believe, to win the title.
What do you think it means, if anything, about Sydal's future in the E'?

If he does then that's a trip. They haven't even gotten around to listing him on the OVW website roster.

This would be insane. If Sydal is champ......expect to him to be moving to WWE by the summer of 08. Where did you get this info?
Hasnt Sydal only worked like a handful of OVW matches?

And the sad part is, is that I think that Mike Kruel deserves to hold that title more than Sydal. Kruel has really worked his way up the indy ranks. It is a wonder that WWE has never brought him up.

Mike Kruel is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the business right now. I expect Matt Sydal to be in the WWE, and on Smackdown, very soon. |

I don't think this really means anything to be honest for his WWE future. A lot of the time, when you win the OVW Title, you're called up after you lose it. |

Yeah, but Burchill, and others have won it recently, and really nothing.
Esp. since Sydal has been in OVW such a short time.

I'm glad he's progressing in OVW, I can't wait till he finally debuts in WWE. I'm just worried that he's gonna be placed in various squash matches and have his moveset very limited just like every other talented wrestlers who goes to the WWE. Only thing out of him going to the WWE that is positive in my book is the fact that I'll be able to get a figure of him and I'll be able to watch him on National TV every week.
I just wish the same thing happened to him that happened to Claudio, where he made his farewell and ended up just getting rejected a week later from OVW which meant back to the Indys where he should be.
