Pretty much the same thread as the WWE and TNA board, but with more variety, and a lot more attention to accuracy. With any thing relatively known to have happened in '07 being an automatic disqualification, and all completely new matches welcome even if unintentionally.
Doesn't matter what company you use, so long as they are not signed to WWE or TNA contracts, as well as developmental ones. Mines off the bat would be.
• Necro Butcher vs Claudio Castagnoli
• Necro Butcher vs Austin Aries
• Chris Hero vs Roderick Strong
• Austin Aries vs Mike Quackenbush
• (going against my own rule) Black Tiger IV vs Curry Man ;D

In case you wanted to check out Hero/Strong, it happened at the 2006 TPI.
Here are my five.
- Kenta Kobashi vs. Go Shiosaki
- Minoru vs. Davey Richards
- Kenta Kobashi vs. Satoshi Kojima
- Toshiaki Kawada vs. Takeshi Morishima
- Tatsuhito Takaiwa vs. Kenta Kobashi or Katsuyori Shibata
Yeah, I know most of these won't happen, but at least the first one might.

I left out orient talent, not to decipher other people's picks, I just don't follow as closely. But I seriously could go for a lot of matches with either Marufuji or Shingo. Hell, let's get them opposite one another. Two of my favorites right now. As for Roddy-Hero, I think it's one of few matches that could be different and not played out. If done in the coming months. Hero vs Evans would be cool, but with a "broken face", the last thing Jack needs is Hero punching him. |
