On sunday there was a local wrestling event at peabodys downunder witch is a dive bar/club. the main event was The sandman vs samoa joe it was a good fight they fought all around the bar and sandman did his 5 min entrence the match was basicly 5min sandmans entrence,8mins match,10 min beer fest with taunting with joe,sandman and the ref who was somebody from the band mushroomhead.The funniest parts were f vince chants witch joe and sandman smiled at,joes going to kill you and f em up sandman chants,then they started chanting f scott hall at joe he looked at the crowd and did the razor ramon taunt.the best part was the beer bash at the end when sandman was going around giving fans a drink samoa joe was smashing beer cans on his head like sandman does.I got a ton of pics and was able to meet sandman who is a real nice guy.i cant upload picks cause it was with a disposable camera so when they get developed ill post them.

The group was Cleveland, OH's Firestorm Pro Wrestling. The guy from Mushroomhead was the lead singer, Waylon, doing the guest refereeing for the Joe vs. Sandman match. I reffed the rest of the show and did the 3 count in Joe vs. Sandman after Waylon was knocked out from the cane shot.
What did you think of the rest of the show?

I bet it was a drag out fight though. Both Sandman and Joe definitely know how to put on a show/fight. Mushroomhead though being involved kinda sounds like that was awesome. I do like their music, though I wouldn't have pegged him as a wrestling fan of any type.
What was the rest of the show?

Waylon is a huge wrestling fan, and was a really nice guy. He did an awesome job for us.
Tracy Smothers was there, teaming with Mickey Gambino (from IWC's Gambino Brothers tag team) against Patrick Hayes and J-Rocc. There was even one of Smothers' famous "dance offs" between the teams.
"The Deviant" Michael Hutter (from OVW and Derby City Wrestling) pinned "Fabulous" John McChesney (From IWC and PWU)

Sounds alot like what happened between Drake Younger and Sandman at IWA MS, except the brawling didnt happen, just Sandman's entrance. Problay for the best, considering Drake's injury and he had COD the next night.

I thought the show was sweet Ill most likely be going to the next one the other match I liked was the nine man tag match. |

"Fabulous" John McChesney works for New Vision Pro Wrestling in Canada and they've been to Hamilton a few times.
I was impressed with John. Hes pretty talented for a young guy. Has a lot of charisma.
