***ELITEPRO ANNOUNCES THE $600 SIX-MAN ELIMINATION TAG***
ElitePro officials are happy to announce a new concept match they have created that they feel will give ElitePro shows a different element and give unknown wrestlers a chance to make a name for themselves in one night.
From ElitePro Management:
"On July 7, ElitePro will debut the "$600 Six-Man Tag Team Match". At ElitePro, we take pride in the idea that we have wrestlers waiting, in gear, for an opportunity to present itself and they take advantage. Justin Dredd and Kid Hybrid are just two examples of wrestlers that have earned a spot by taking advantage of a situation. We encourage any wrestler interested in becoming a part of ElitePro to show up to shows and attempt to find a spot on the roster. If you are an aspiring wrestler in the Midwest, hit up EliteProWrestling.com and click the link regarding booking inquiries. Someone from the office will respond. The $600 Six-Man Tag is a match that is a chance to open everyone's eyes in ElitePro.
Now the match itself. On the night of shows, those wrestlers that are not already announced in matches will have their names placed in a hat. Six names will be drawn at random and the matchmakers will put them into two teams of three.
The match begins as a traditional six-man tag team match. The two teams fight to one decision - be it by pinfall, submission, DQ, countout, knockout, etc. The wrestler that won the decision will then be temporarily removed from the match.
The remaining four wrestlers (two from the winning team and the two wrestlers on the losing team that did not lose) will then immediately wrestle a four-way dance to one decision. Should there be a double-pin, the two remaining men will wrestle to a single fall.
The winner of the four-way will then immediately compete in a singles match against the winner of the fall of the six-man tag to a single decision.
So, what about the prize for winning this convoluted, but really quite simple, match you may ask? Well, this is where the $600 comes in. The winner of the $600 Six-Man Tag will receive, in the ring that night, six $100 bills.
But to sweeten the pot, ElitePro officials have decided that this match concept will be used to crown the first champion of a new title belt that ElitePro is scheduled to debut in February.
Starting on July 7, ElitePro will hold one $600 Six-Man Tag Match each month, with the winner earning a spot in the Grand Finale in February '08, with the single winner being crowned the first-ever title holder of the yet unnamed belt."
EliteProWrestling.com will be contacting wrestlers on the roster to get their opinions of this new match concept. Stay tuned.
***ELITEPRO SIGNS OPPONENT FOR CHASE RICHARDS***
