I wanna rent it and I just wanna know if anybody's got it yet because hopefully its not disapointing because all the hype.Thanks to anybody who responds.

I rented it. So far the only major differences I can see in the PS2 version is the Dynasty Mode...and its a little harder to run the ball so far for me. Other than that, same game.
Kinda pissed that the High School part isn't in the game, but oh well.

The high school part isn't in the game? This is only in PS3 and Xbox360, not ps2 and xbox. |

I was so close to getting it but my buddy actually got to Family Video before I did, so I rented APF2k8.

Well, if you have a 360 also, you'd be better off getting it for that since it runs at 60fps, whereas the PS3 is locked down at 30fps. The only advantage the PS3 has is free online play. one more question, does madden seem to be better next-gen this year? I really only play NCAA untill madden comes out. Does madden seem better on the PS3 OR 360?

Well, the past versions of Madden have sucked, whether its PS3 or 360. This years looks to be an improvement though (although it looks like that every year).
