I will just warn everyone that the second match was the worst match on the card. No one seemed to click in it.

I'm kind of on the fence about this show. According to the reviews I've read on CZWFans, it's skippable aside from the last two matches, Hernandez/Drake, and Taylor's heeling (he told some girl he was gonna rape her, apparently).
I don't know... I'll probably pick it up but it's not on the top of my IWA:MS buy list.

From all that I've read elsewhere, the crowd was AWFUL last night. Not that I can completely blame them with all of the changes and not even announcing Bosh & Lost weren't going to be there.
I guess Lost sent an email to IWA a couple of days ago stating that they both couldn't take time off work without losing their jobs. But IWA didn't announce that. I mean, it's not their fault, so they should've. What is interesting to me, is this is one of the reasons that I think Bosh doesn't get as much hype as Chuck Taylor does, to tack on to the debate between Dean and myself.
Bosh is out of the West Coast and it costs a nice penny to fly him and Lost in. And then, after plane tickets are purchased, they can't get the dates off. Which sucks, but in a way, is their fault and not IWA's. They seemed to have agreed to appear a couple weeks back when the Up in Smoke match was booked.
If anything, they could've saved this show completely by taking the KOW out of the 8 man tag and putting them in a title match against the Saints. And then have UiS, Notorious Inc take on BLK OUT & xOMGx. Then do B-Boy against Vortekz. Vortekz has wrestled Claudio in IWA, so it would be another match to give him a chance to break out.
Again, not sure why exactly they moved Sydal out of that World title match as it seemed to be a match that the fans were dying for.
I'm all for Z-Barr getting some decent and entertaining stuff, but in a match with Lethal and Smothers, did he really need to be in it?
I want to know why Summerlynn jobbed out to Mickie. Can Mickie, like, NOT lose anymore in women's matches? It seems that she hasn't lost a women's match in IWA since November of 2005.
Overall, it's such a shame how this show ended up looking. Granted, it probably will be entertaining and I want to see it. But a month ago, when it Quack/Claudio, Sydal/Chuck, SST/TCB, Richards/Hero and the PWG six man...it looked like an absolute MUST SEE show.

I just woke up from a 20 hour poker session at the Borgata. Made $1100.....so I had a pretty decent weekend. But I also attended this show, as many of you already know. This was my first IWA event and it was awesome! Some of the matches were not that great....but the other ones were so damn good.....they made up for it. Here is my review of each.
1. 4 Way Lightheavyweight Match. --This was absolutely awesome! Richochet went and did a ton of highspots, but continues to prove to be nothing more than a spot monkey. Crowd did love him. Thomaselli looked great. And just for Nate, I must say that Billy Roc looked really good. He looked a lot better here than what I have seen of him in Chikara. Fantastic opening match.
2. CJ Otis & Fukimoto def. Akira Raijin & Brute Issei ---everyone is right....this was pretty bad. Everyone gave it their best, but the heels couldnt get over and the babyfaces everyone hated. Crowd chanted "Take It Home" for a good 5 mins. Philly fans are so damn disrespectful at the end with a sionarra chant towards the asians. First of many disrespectful crap shown by that awful city and its awful people. I hate Philly.
3. Black Machismo" Jay Lethal def. Tracy Smothers and Z-Barr in a 3-Way --average match. Smothers was awesome. Lethal was fun to watch. Z-Barr did craphimself. FOR REAL!
4. The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) & Up In Smoke (Cheech & Cloudy) def. Ruckus, Sabian, Ricky Reyes & B-Boy ---I loved this match. One of the best of the night. Hero and Claudio were mad over as babyfaces. BLK Out got a lot of heel heat and that surprised me. BBoy got a major babyface pop when he showed up. It was awesome to see him.
5. Non-Title, Falls Count Anywhere Match: Mickie Knuckles def. Rachel Summerlyn ---Real good women's match here. Really got into Rachel.....she's NICE!!! LOL!!! Big girls need lovn too. Insane bump on at the end with Mickie giving Rachel a german on the ramp. Rachel was legit hurt, but got up with assistance. Crowd loved the match and it was also one of the best.
6. TLC Match for IWA Mid-South Tag Team Titles: The Iron Saints (c) (Sal Thomaselli & Vito Thomaselli) def. Notorious Inc. (Devon Moore & Drew Blood) & The Naptown Dragons (xOMGx & Vortekz)
---a spot fest, but expectable from a TLC match. Devon Moore was AWESOME! Chemistry was good and everyone looked like winners. Another fantastic match.
7. Best of 3 Falls: Human Tornado def. Matt Sydal. ---they got more time than their WSX match.....but it wasnt as good. Still very solid, but Sydal got major heel heat. Not sure why....maybe cuz of the ROH turn. I dont know....but he got my cheers. Crowd chanted for them to eat something. So stupid Philly...so stupid.
8. Hotstuff Hernandez def. Drake Younger ---confusing match. Very one sided. Hernandez came in and brutalized Younger. Younger got in almost no offense and looked like a jobber from the old 80s version of WWF Superstars. Hernandez dominated him from the bell and beat him like a bitch. Very surprising. Younger sold it all so well and took a beating.
9. IWA-MS World Heavyweight Title Match: Chuck Taylor (c) def. Josh Abercrombie ---STINKER!! This match sucked terribly. Taylor did his normal thing, but Abercrombie was so bad trying to be a babyface. Crowd didnt care for it. Small group were on Taylor big time....most of the crowd could care less. I dont think Philly knew who to cheer or who too boo. Chemistry was bad and match was boring. One of the worse of the night.
10. Homicide & Low Ki def. The Tough Crazy Bastards (Necro Butcher & Toby Klein)
---hands down the best match of the night. Wild and crazy is an understatement. The DVD is worth the price based on this match alone....thats how good it was. Insane spot at the end with Low Ki ghetto stomping Necro's head through a table that was propped up against the ring and outside rail. I have never seen anything like that and is one of the sickest things I have ever seen. INSANE!
11. Hardcore match......I didnt even stay to watch. It looked and sounded awful. Worthless and didnt need to be there. Match 10 was so damn good and should have stayed the main event.
Other Notes:
Low Ki worked the merchandise stand. Didnt expect him to be doing that. Figured he would have his stuff out there and thats it. But he was there most of the night. Pretty cool. Most of the other stands were pretty bad. Wished they had more stuff.
I also got stuck sitting next to GLF. No one no one likes him. He got into it with security. They had front row spaced back some bit from the rail. GLF took it upon himself to rearrange front row, by moving his seat closer to the rail. When asked to move back.....he bitched to security that he paid for his ticket and will put his chair whereever he chooses. He got into it with Ricky Reyes pretty bad to the point that Ruckus had to hold Reyes back from going after him. Not exactly sure what that was about. He complained about all the matches and how fake stuff looked or how this is no ROH. He told me Sydal sucked and that he is nothing more than a pretty boy. He spent most of the night sending text messages. Also he kept a note pad that after he got into confrontations with wrestlers.......he began to write notes. I didnt get to see what he wrote.....but he wrote stuff down. Maybe he keep a diary.
Asia.....he was so damn annoying. I can see why you hated sitting next to him.

I just wasn't really that entertained by the match. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that great to me either.

Weird thing is there was an entire section that loved him. High fiving him and coming up to talk to him. The internet hates him.....but a lot of people in the arena loved him. No one has the guts to say how they really feel. For me....I just didnt want to bother. I wasnt there for him. I was there to watch IWA for the first time live.
