- The fact that you are critiquing Morishima for doing the same stuff over and over, yet praising SAMOA JOE, THE OFFICIAL KING OF DOING THINGS OVER AND OVER, is ironic in itself. Joe has had almost the exact same match since like 2004. Yep, that explains why he had two 1-hour matches to earn ***** Everything from around where Joe lost the Pure Title in 05 through right before the Five Year Festival was the same match over and over again. EDIT: Oh, and assuming you're using Meltzer's rating system, Joe only had one 1-hour draw that was rated five stars, the second match. But really, Joe/Punk 3 was the best of the trilogy.

There are some matches that stood out as being different, obviously. Joe vs. Punk III being the main one, but otherwise, all of his matches were so ing boring and repetitive it was insane.

Your time on the board has nothing to do with your newb status. Your opinions do, though.

People complaining about this **** really give ROH fans their bad reputation for being MOOVZZZ!~~```~!!! fans. Morishima is one of the best in the world, no doubt, right now. He is the perfect Japanese-style heavyweight wrestler. He hits as hard as . Has a sick finisher. Has those moves he busts out to surprise his opponent (cartwheel elbow, dropkick). He no-sells in a good way. Has the "fighting spirit" one would expect. I mean, look at Morishima vs. KENTA from NOAH. Beginning of the match, Morishima is on the defensive, blocking some strikes and stuff. Eventually, KENTA gets some kicks through. Morishima takes one, yells that ever so intimidating "bring it on er" yell, takes another kick, yells, takes another, and eventually just says hey you KENTA, and starts clubbing him in the head. Mori isn't going to bust out a wrist-clutch backwards brainbuster or some ****. He uses a less is more approach, plays off the fact that he is bigger and tougher than anyone, and has the total monster big heel thing going in ROH. And it's not Mori's fault Gabe is booking him in squashes, you can't discredit him for Gabe wanting him to be mega-over. I'd disagree with you on many parts. I'll give Morishima the benefit of the doubt for having communication errors in the States, but I find Morishima to be insanely overrated. His offense is really poor. I'm not in need of the "MOOVZ" but I think all wrestlers should do what moves they do best. His various slamming moves are very underwhelming, and seem to suck life out of crowds hoping for something impactful. Like his destruction of Irish Airborne at FYF Dayton, don't remember if it was Dave or Jake, but he basically dropped one with the weakest sideslam ever, and they had to sell it like death. That's not the only time though. For such an important move to his moveset, it looks pretty horrible. I can list at least 20 in the world who I think are better than Morishima, and I thought his match with KENTA was an absolute abortion of a match, quite possibly the worst ROH title match ever.

The KENTA match? Are you serious? Please, explain why. It was really, pretty good. You say he doesn't have any impact moves? Did you ing see the lariat he threw at KENTA in that match? It was harder than any lariat I've seen like all year. His back drop driver is beautiful, his strikes are good, and his rolling butt bump to the face is another great move.
