Chase "The Face" Richards defends the ElitePro Championship
against Midwest Indy Star, Dysfunction!
Results for 7-7-07
1) Brandon Graves defeated Bill Munoz
2) ElitePro Tag Title Match: The Iron Saints retained the titles against The Soul Touchaz after hitting Marche Rockett with the Pendulum Doublestomp.
3) "The Real Deal" Jay Jensen and "6% Body Fat" Rob James went to a no-contest when Maverick chased Jensen from the building.
While James, who was making his ElitePro debut, celebrated in the ring, "Old Timer" Jeff King came out with a microphone and proclaimed he was "waging war" on the cruiserweight division in ElitePro and was going to start by making an example of Rob James. King challenged James to a one-on-one match, which James accepted. Just as the match was getting started, Justin Dredd came to ringside to tell the "Old Timer" that if he had a problem with the cruiserweights in ElitePro, then he certainly had a problem with him. The match was then made into a three-way dance. While the "Old Timer" argued that he'd never heard of a three-way dance and didn't understand the concept, "All Night" Adam Reynolds came out and decided to take advantage of the situation and make a name for himself. The referee then made it a four-way. Just minutes into the four-way, Maverick hit the ring and cleaned house on everyone but Jeff King, who hid under the ring to avoid Maverick.
Maverick then took the mic and demanded that Jay Jensen face him like a man right then. Jensen came out and told his former partner that they were going to settle their difference on HIS terms, not Maverick's. Jensen than challenged Maverick to a one-on-one match when ElitePro returns to Steger. Maverick then upped the ante and made it a Chicago Street Fight.
The referee ruled the four-way a no contest.
4) Synn & "The Human Highlight Reel" Acid w/ Double M defeated Baltazar & Christian Able after they hit a swinging Rock Bottom/Springboard 450 combo on Able.
Christian Able was introduced by Kimberly Kash as her new "Blue Chip Prospect" and would be subbing for the "injured" Abaddon, who apparently hurt himself during training. www.EliteProWrestling.com cameras were able to find that to be false after catching Kash having a phone conversation with Abaddon later in the night.
5) "The Impact Bully" Brandon Thomaselli won the first-ever $600 Six-Man Tag when he defeated Kid Hybrid in the finals.
The match started as a six-man tag with Thomaselli teaming with Hybrid and "The Waterboy" Mike Horning. Their opponents were Acid Jaz, "Believe It or Not" Jeff Brooks and the debuting Mickey McCoy.
Thomaselli scored the fall after pinning McCoy, leaving Hybrid, Horning, Brooks and Jaz to battle in a four-way, which was surprisingly won by Hybrid with a rollup on Horning after he had been beat down by the other three.
"The Impact Bully" took advantage of the beaten and battered Hybrid and easily won the singles match to take the $600 and earn himself a spot in the Grand Finale in February to crown the first champion of a yet unnamed belt scheduled to debut in 2008.
6) Jason Hades defeated Prince Arya with the Killswitch in an impressive cruiserweight challenge for both men. After the match, Hades was attacked by a masked man that was dressed in army fatigues. Arya and the masked man double-teamed Hades and left him laying.
In the back, EliteProWrestling.com cameras were able to catch up to the Prince and the masked man. The masked man revealed himself to be Jake O'Neil, who claimed that shares a disdain for ElitePro Wrestling fans and American's in general with the Prince.
7) ElitePro Championship Match: Chase "The Face" Richards defeated Dysfunction with the Burning Hammer to retain to the ElitePro Championship (2nd defense). The match was EXTREMELY hard-hitting, but in the end, Richards was able to hit Dysfunction with the Burning Hammer and retain.
