"I'm not saying that the PPV won't be held there, but can tell you that as of now, the location for the PPV has not been finalized at all."
Maybe you have a problem with compromise.
In the end I gave you the point you were trying to make. TNA not having confirmed a location.(IE. Sears Center) But many of sites, both reliable and not have picked up that Chicago will be the location of BFG.
Here's the most rational answer I can give you. Think back to when TNA was gonna use St Louis. They wanted to but couldn't settle or establish a location. But they did.
I can't argue that TNA doesn't have a scapegoat in not having to find a place of venue in Chicago. However for the most part, there is real talk in TNA going to Chicago with what they call their "biggest PPV of the year", Bound for Glory, being the PPV of choice the Windy City hosts.
Now we can go on, and on, and on. You mostly being right that TNA it's self has not made confirmation on where they will do BFG 2007. However it's still early, and Chicago has been name dropped as a location they'd consider(I believe Bill Banks mentioned it once) though of course without anything written in stone.

On July 5, the location of BFG was Chicago, just not announced yet. I'm saying that as of today, Chicago is NOT the location, although it can be held there if things are worked out. Obviously, TNA wants to run the event in Chicago, but they may not be able to at this point. There is nothing to compromise.

You just chose to ignore it. Chicago is currently much like St Louis, a location they want for a PPV they plan to run. However as you pointed out, TNA has hesitated to confirm anything. Where are we not on the same path? Is it the fact I'm not agreeing Chicago isn't likely to be this year's location of BFG? It's likely, not rumored to be, LIKELY. Just as you said, a location is not yet confirmed. Moving back on to the subject, Chicago does offer up quite a few promotions

TNA PPV isn't coming to Chicago in October. It's being reported on a few websites.
As far as Chicago indy feds. AAW is putting out the best shows by far and this past Saturday was great. The building was packed . I think the guy at the front said there was over 300 in there. By far outdrawing other Chicago indies. Been going here for over a year and am rarely dissapointed..They had a heel Jerry Lynn as champ, Joey Mercury vs Eric Priest, Zach Gowen vs Silas Young , Christian York vs Truth Martini , Cannon and NSE. And the street fight with Tyler Black/ Chandler McClure vs Jayson Reign / Danny Daniels was really good. The crowd is nuts for everything. They announced dates in Highwood, IL on July 28 and in Berwyn, IL on Aug 11th.
Another one is NWA Midwest out of Streamwood. But I don't know when they are coming back . They didn't announce a date at the last show .They don't draw too well but they always bring in a lot of TNA guys like Lethal ,Low Ki, Sabin, Shelly. Shows are normally good but the crowd kind of kills it .
I've tried IWA Midsouth a couple times, but can't stand long shows . I'll get some of their dvds so I can take a couple days to watch a show . But sitting there live is rough .
