So, Football season will be here in a month, and there is no way i can wait til Christmas to get Madden 08 and Ncaa 08...but I can't really afford to buy them right now...so, my question is, are madden 07 and ncaa 07 fairly close and worth getting, or should I just hold out for Christmas?

They will be fairly close. Especially with last-gen, they will be pretty much identical with updated rosters. The same probably goes for the 360/Wii/PS3 gen as well. If you DO NOT care about updated rosters, you can get the 07 versions. If you feel you need updated rosters and possibly minor changes like me, then get 08.
