I heard that the PPV from ROH was pretty much a make it or break it for them, and I was wondering when they will find out if they did good or not. I ordered it, and know some other fans that did. However, I think the advertising part of that PPV was terrible at best. I never seen any commercials air, and the only way I knew of it was through their web site. I have comcast, so maybe they did advertising with Dish, or on channels I dont watch? But I did not see a single commercial for it, and I think with the price it was at if properly promoted they could have gained a lot more interest

It wasn't a "make or break" at all. The PPV distributor told ROH that there's no minimum number of buys they need, and pretty much zero extra cost went into the production, so yeah... either way, no big loss.
I doubt they got an amazing number of buys though.

I think only the internet fans bought it with a few fans who have never seen ROH before but already know WWE is crap. The PPV was good but ROH needs to advertise better if they wanna get a lot of new fans to tune in.

Yeah in no way was this venture "make or break" for the company. If nothing else, if it proves to be not worth the time and money, they'll go back to their previous business plan that was making them money (more than any other company in North America not named the WWE).

Time Warner Didn't carry it. Maybe not yours, but Time Warner here in WI carrys it for $14.95 And in the North East, NY carried it no prob. It's just the replays are sparadic so you gotta do some guide searching.

It was the first full show of ROH I ever seen, and I really liked it.

ROH really does need to do some better advertising for the next PPV.
