East Coast, you say? Well, up in Philly, there is the CHIKARA Wrestle Factory. Has 2 of the world's best in "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush & Chris Hero as head trainers, and it teaches just about all styles of pro wrestling. So I think that's your best bet really.

If you're still attempting to choose between this KYDA Place or being Trained by Quack/Hero/Sometimes Skayde, don't wrestle. Ever.

virginia to phillys not that big of a haul. i'd recommend roh's school too just because it's roh.
when i start training i think ill start small probably eric priest's so i can go to school still, then go to IWA's then ROH's. i want to treat it like a college, get years of training.

Virginia is a hard place to wrestle in because of the State Athletic Commision they have. You actually have to pay to get a license in order to wrestle there. If you are not licensed you can not wrestle down there. There are a couple of other states with this rule, but none around the VA area really. I would recommend ROH or Chikara like the above post stated. If you are willing to go there to get trained, go. You will be learning from people who are seasoned in several different techniques, especially in Chikara

There is no doubt that the Chikara Wrestle Factory is the best school on the East Coast. Quack/Hero and now Claudio are all training the future of pro wrestling. Seriously man....if you are gonna do it.....do it with the best. These are 3 of the absolute best on the indy circuit today and will show you all the proper tools. They will also be able to help you get noticed. Look at how Quack's students all get work with the biggest indy promotions......ROH....Chikara....CZW...IWA:MS....IWA:DS......PWG, etc.

The Chikara school is probably a good idea. Just don't go to the ROH school. It's the most expensive and you will never get anywhere on the indy scene.

About 95% of the trainees from their will never be taken seriously anywhere (see Shane Storm, Mister Zero, UltraMantis Black, Worker Ant, Soldier Ant, Fire Ant, Hydra, Crossbones, Moscow the Communist Bovine, Retail Dragon, the new guy Ophidian). If anything, the ROH school is going to teach you to wrestle and give you a basic gimmick with some skill and the ability to be taken seriously. Only a handful of CHIKARA graduates will get any serious attention outside of CHIKARA.

Harley Race's WLW school would be good, because they have connections with NOAH. Tons of their trainees have been sent over to NOAH for tours, and they have a lot of the NOAH wrestlers train their a couple times a year.
