If you wanna get anywhere on the indy scene then I advise you not to go to the ROH school. It's the most money and chances are you will be in ROH jerking curtains forever or less you are really good. That's funny because when enrolling at the ROH school and after graduating guys are getting booked in CHIKARA, IWA MS, NWS, NWA Upstate, FIP, and UWA. It's called earning your stripes. After four or five year in wrestling you start to get your feet wet with pushes. Nothing is handed to you automatically, so don't speak to what you don't know. Not to mention, it's actually less overall cost then training at Storm's school, and about $50 more total then the Wrestlefactory. Davey Andrews, at one time ROH's best trainee imo, has totally disappeared. What does that say?

Nothing. How many of CHIKARA's trainees have disappeared? What ever happened to: Black Jack Marciano Blind Rage Darkness Crabtree DJ Skittlez Dragonfly Jolly Roger Lance Steel Lovebug Melvin Snodgrass Mr. ZERO Private Eye Rorschach ShareCropper Andrews situation doesn't reflect anything of the school, just of him personally. So it really says ing nothing.

It's not something that needs to be discussed in public.

None of the ROH students will ever go anywhere on the indys.

I've said it before, Pelle is the next El Generico.

I've said it before, Pelle is the next El Generico. Pelle is a great worker and is really the only ROH student I care about. He understands how to work a match. However I think his size may always be a factor.

No way, size means absolutely nothing on the American indy scene. Look at Davey Richards. Dude's like 5' 3".

Yeah but you know as well as I do, size really does not matter too much for anyone. I mean, could I see him winning a World title? Not for a while. But give the dude a believable offense, some good moves, and a bigger tag partner, and you can have Strong & Evans II.

Well as a tag wrestler I can possibly see him going places but as a singles star I can't, not now anyway. The reason guys like Richards, Generico & Hero get away with their size is because Richards may be short but he's built. Generico & Hero might be as skinny as a tooth pick but they are tall. Pelle is just short and skinny but I will agree that as a tag team with a bigger partner I can see him going places.

You know what, this "respect" thing is so ridiculous and is one of the reasons I just can't get into wrestling much anymore. Yes, you should have training and you should have a few lower-level matches, but you should not wait years to get an opportunity. That is complete bullshit. If you have the ability, it doesn't matter if you've been wrestling for 6 months or 16 years. You deserve to be booked. Why should you earn respect in a fake industry? What's even funnier is that this is the only industry this exists in. JSWO, you're a Cavs fan; look at LeBron James. He entered the league with a huge contract and had his entire team cater to him. He didn't need to earn respect because he had ability. Look at Boston or Mariah Carey or Van Halen or Matchbox 20 or Carrie Underwood. They all were instantly known after their first albums and became big names in the music business. Look at MMA or boxing. In a year or two with a few wins over top guys you can quickly become a superstar. The wrestling industry is so ing ridiculous and its really sad how a bunch of grown men get kicks out of bullying young guys backstage.

The big names are the ones in the spotlight. Why, should someone who just started, be given the spotlight right away because they have "ability" in a fake sport? Kobashi lost like 80 straight matches in the beginning of his career...then he finally got up to the level of Misawa, Kawada, and Taue.

Why, should someone who just started, be given the spotlight right away because they have "ability" in a fake sport? That's exactly why....because they have ability. If you need another analogy look at actors. One role can be a starmaking position for a lot of people. Rarely will you see people too bitter to work with them (although it does happen). I just don't see the point in having to job for years because you just started at something.
