If you wanna get anywhere on the indy scene then I advise you not to go to the ROH school. It's the most money and chances are you will be in ROH jerking curtains forever or less you are really good.

I don't even know if the ROH school is going to be around. I think it stopped when Danielson went down. Anyway, I see you're from KY. You might want to get in contact with OVW or IWA. Both would be closer to where you live so you can probably stay at home, save some money and still train.
Unless you want to move away on purpose.

Go to IWA's school, they just opened up in Louisville I think.
I plan on training at The Elite Pro Dojo. Iron Saints, here I come. in 5 years

Malenko's in Florida, Holly/Gunn in Alabama, Booker in Texas, Storm in Alberta, Quack/Hero in Philly, Afa in Pittsburgh, UPW in Cali, IWA in Kentucky, Snow/Gibson(OVW) in Kentucky, Kowalski(Chaotic) in Mass.
ROH School is currently closed, but take your pick out of any of those. I'm not sure if Joe and Dean still train, but if there school is still open give it a shot, everything else I'm 100% sure is open.

I kinda feel that way to. I just don't get a vibe that they produce talent. I think if you want a shot in ROH, don't start there, and make yourself free to be book in the tri-state area. |

That's funny because when enrolling at the ROH school and after graduating guys are getting booked in CHIKARA, IWA MS, NWS, NWA Upstate, FIP, and UWA. It's called earning your stripes. After four or five year in wrestling you start to get your feet wet with pushes. Nothing is handed to you automatically, so don't speak to what you don't know. Not to mention, it's actually less overall cost then training at Storm's school, and about $50 more total then the Wrestlefactory. |
