New Japan ran their August 5th rally at Osaka Prefectural Gym, claiming 6,000 paid. Results:
1. Yujiro defeated Tetsuya Naito in 7 minutes, 44 seconds with a crab hold.
2. Ryusuke Taguchi, El Samurai, & Koji Kanemoto defeated Jadoh, Gedoh, & Minoru in 13 minutes, 45 seconds when Taguchi used the dodon on Jadoh.
3. G-1 B Block: Milano Collection A.T. (2 pts) defeated Toru Yano (0 pts) in 6 minutes by count-out.
4. G-1 B Block: Shiro Koshinaka (2 pts) defeated Manabu Nakanishi (0 pts) in 10 minutes, 30 seconds with a German Suplex Hold.
5. G-1 A Block: Makabe (2 pts) defeated Giant Bernard (0 pts) in 8 minutes, 34 seconds with a top-rope King Kong knee-drop.
6. G-1 A Block: Yuji Nagata (2 pts) defeated Akebono (0 pts) in 6 minutes, 32 seconds with an ankle hold.
