- Global Honored Crown Champion Mitsuhara Misawa is coming to the United States. That has been known for several months. However, whether or not he'd be bringing the GHC Heavyweight Championship with him was another story. On Saturday night, November 3 in New York, New York, at the Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom, Misawa will be defending the GHC Heavyweight Champion in Ring of Honor. The match will be presented as an authentic title match, including the pre-match reading of the championship declaration done by Joe Higuchi, who is also making the trip.
- Misawa will also be working a Friday night show for the company. ROH is looking into running on Sunday, November 4, also to capitalize on this unique circumstance.
- ROH is returning to Deer Park Community Center in February of 2008. A new building in the area is still being sought after.

I swear, the first thought that came to my mind was: Bwahahahahahahahahaha
Outside of a fan jumping the guardrail and stabbing Misawa, Misawa ain't losing the GHC Belt on American soil. This all but guarantees him a victory.

Misawa is one man I've always wanted to see in ROH, or even just on American Soil. This should be awesome. I'd love to see him face McGuinness.

Everyone already knows Misawa is coming in, it's been announced by Meltzer(see the 8/6/07 issue). It's also been confirmed by Samurai TV. Some idiot behind a fake name isn't worth trusting.
He's working 11/2 & 11/3. As someone who is part of the ROH live event staff on a regular basis, everyone already knew. Don't act like some type of journalist.

What everyone didn't know, including yourself, was whether or not Misawa would be defending the GHC championship. I can now confirm that he will be for one show, and that is on November 3. Misawa will also be touring the midwest to take a look at Harley Race's WLW.

You really hate when others know more than you, it seems. Sorry it had to be that way, but I will always know more.

ehhhh this is hard to believe. if anything this would be bad for roh, because if he does "defend" the belt, there is no chance in hell of him losing the GHC belt on U.S. soil.meaning they might as well announce that Misawa will win the match months in advance.
