I was looking on gerweck.net and saw this.
NOAH's director Ryu Nakata said on Samurai TV that Samoa Joe was coming to NOAH's show in Yokohama on October 25th.
This could be interesting.

That is interesting. I wonder what kind of deal he's going to get for that. TNA certainly isn't playing favorites by having the stolen IWGP featured on their shows. But hey, Joe deserves his chance in NOAH.

I wonder if the long rumored Misawa/Joe match could really take place.

I was looking on gerweck.net and saw this. NOAH's director Ryu Nakata said on Samurai TV that Samoa Joe was coming to NOAH's show in Yokohama on October 25th. This could be interesting. #1: Gerweck is not a reliable news website. #2: Don't see this as even remotely happening, TNA has no business relationship with NOAH, and Mr. Nakata has said ROH and WLW will be the only USA promotions he works with. So, take that with what you will. #3: I hope this does happen, for Joe because it is his dream. If it does, clearly TNA sees he's unhappy and wants to do anything it can to keep him.

I don't think this is true. It isn't on NOAH-USA, PuroresuFan, or the official Japanese NOAH site. It might be though.
And the chances of Joe vs. Kobashi II are highly unlikely right now. Kobashi is still aiming for a comeback, and will probably barely do one singles match until at least March. If so, the chances of it being Joe vs. Kobashi are still very low in my eyes.
And even so, I don't want to see Joe vs. Kobashi again. I want to see that Akiyama vs. Joe match that was supposed to happen sometime a while ago...

Well, a couple more reliable sources have said they have seen the announcement on Samurai TV...so I think this is legit. I'm ing pumped. I hope Joe can break out of his 2004-onwards TNA "do the same moves every match" style...his dream of working NOAH could really bring out the best Samoa Joe has ever been. I'm gonna go use him in KoC II now.

I'll be finding out this if this is confirmed later this afternoon. Two people have said it's not happening, and one has said it is. I have to go to the "horse's" mouth to find out.

If this does indeed happen.... holy sh*t.
Joe would not "phone it in" while in a NOAH ring. Guaranteed. We would witness the return of the old Samoa Joe we all knew and loved.

That's why I am seriously so excited for this possibility. Joe would actually put some new things into his matches, with some effort. It's a shame that someone as good as Samoa Joe was stuck in TNA TV mode from when he first debuted there.

This could be amazing if it happens. I mean, just look at the possibilites:
Samoa Joe VS Jun Akiyama? Samoa Joe VS Go Shiozaki? Samoa Joe VS KENTA? Samoa Joe VS Naomichi Marufuji? Samoa Joe VS Mitsuharu Misawa? Samoa Joe VS Takashi Suguira? Samoa Joe VS Yoshihiro Takayama?
Holy shit.

Don't get your hopes up, there have been talks, but it's like a 40% chance of happening right now. If it does happen it would be for one match and that's it.
