In general for sports games, how important are they to you? For me, they are very important. I would still be buying NBA 2K every year since they get better and better. However, I would still be playing NFL 2K5, MVP 2005, and NHL 07 if I didn't need updated rosters. However, I'm going to end up buying Madden 08 and NHL 08 even though they will barely change. Also, I don't like baseball games anymore since MVP can't make them. So overall, do you buy a new game each year because you can't live without updated rosters?

I'd like to lie and say gameplay is the most important thing; and while it is, roster updates are incredibly important to me. Outdated rosters are the sole reason I don't play MVP or 2K5 as much as I play MLB 07 and the upcoming Madden.

Not really.
I still play madden 05. However, I will probably buy 08 when it comes out for new rosters & graphics.

Not really. I rarely buy Madden games. I bought the 2005 games...and I haven't purchased one since, until 2K8 came out. I still play John Madden Football '93  |

very important.. i own a transfer kit for the 360, and at the time action replays for the ps2 and xbox uno... so i'd always download updated rosters from roster makers off the net.
i like the most realistic sports experience with my games really... i'm pretty anal that way, but it's how i enjoy them.

updated rosters are very important to me
even though I play MVP 05 still, I just play Dynasty with a Fantasy draft until I get bored with it and start a new one

i like to have updated rosters alot, which is why my madden franchises and crap usually don't last beyond like. two or three seasons.

not that important to me i can play about 20 seasons of madden and have all current players gone. i play it for the game.

I think updated rosters are incredibly important. Because I play only NHL games and I always like playing so much better when I am using the most up to date rosters there are.

Its good to have updated rosters, but sometimes I take the time to print off the new rosters and just change them on the game.

Very important. Hate playing a sports game when the rosters aren't the same as the actual teams. So, that's why I buy a game from each sport every year.
