Now i'm a big fan of Nigel (just look at my sig) and he's brilliant and all but i just watched the match between him and Morishima in Japan and he must of tried the Lariat at least 12 times.
I like it when he does it from the top and everything but his arsenal is very limited past the lariat and the Tower of London.
I just think he could use some different offence.

I think he does. The lariat is just a signature move for him. Its like saying Hero over uses the cravate.

Yeah he overuses it but at least he does vary it often. Plus he does it in Japan a lot because they love that move. Watch Stan Hansen matches.

He may overuse it but at least he does it well.

I like Nigel and I love seeing his lariat but yeah he does over use it and it's making me less of a fan because the last few matches I've seen of his he hasn't brought out any of his other offense.

He's sort of became the Messiah of the Lariat, I mean, was there a time where people said that Roderick Strong overused the back-breaker. Prior to that being part of his deal.

He's a great worker. I think it makes his wrestling look a little bit more legit by attempting it over and over again, it's just a devastating move in real life, why not try and use it over and over again? It's called ring psychology.

It's called ring psychology. Exactly. If the Lariat is winning him the matches, then from a 'realism' perspective, that's the move he's gonna keep going for, again and again.
