Sorry if it's already posted. Sorry for another Morishima topic. But I posted this here instead of the WWE board since the WWE board wouldn't have a clue on what they were talking about.
-- WWE's Johnny Ace wanted a meeting with Japanese superstar Takeshi Morishima when Morishima was in New York last weekend. Ace is said to be very high on him. The NOAH promotion put a stop to the meeting, citing loyalty to Ring of Honor which Morishima works for. WWE actually approached Morishima a year or so ago when he was training at Harley Race's school. WWE had interest in putting him on the ECW roster since talks with Masato Tanaka and Tajiri fell through. NOAH stopped it from happening then too.

I doubt he'd even consider going to the WWE. I've barely seen him since I don't really follow ROH, but I hear good things about him. And I doubt he would get a good push in the WWE. Especially since there are already a lot of big men currently getting pushed. And God knows what would happened if he ever went to TNA, but that's off topic. But I think he should just continue what he's currently doing.
Edit: I saw this was posted in the WWE board. But still, it is the WWE board after all............

I said this about Sydal, and I will say it about Morishima. DO NOT sign with the WWE, I repeat, DO NOT sign with the WWE.

Morishima really isn't the same size as Khali. If you look a pictures of him with Cade, they are about the same height.

Some of the fans on this board are extremely selfish
"DON'T SIGN TO WWE KEEP WORKING THE INDIES"
You gonna pay them more money when they finally get a family?

If Morishima ever went to WWE he would be used just fine. Are you kidding me? No, I don't like WWE as much as the next guy but not everyone that goes there is gonna be misused. Are they gonna be as good as they were on the indy's? Of course not, but this is a lot of indy wrestlers dream. CM Punk has been used just fine so far. WWE has big plans for Teddy Hart & Harry Smith and I think Matt Sydal is another indy guy who could really do something on ECW. WWE loves monster gimmicks so Morishima would do fine. He would probably go to ECW and be built up as this huge monster before being moved to Smackdown and wrestling guys like Taker, Kane, Mysterio & Batista and then could even go to RAW and challenge Cena for the title. He would be toned down a bit yes, but not much and he would certainly make something of himself and probably win the ECW Title as well as possibly the World Heavyweight Title. Now if this is Delirious that the WWE is looking at, I'd say no because he would get the Eugene treatment where he's pushed for a little while before being lost in the shuffle and then hitting jobber status. I'm no WWE fan but some indy fans are selfish. Let some of the guys who wanna make it give WWE a shot. Everyone said Punk would never be anything in WWE and he's the top star of one of their three brands and has a huge future ahead of him. London & Kendrick while toned down have learned to work with it and still be able to put on great matches. They're former tag team champions. Sure the tag titles might not mean anything but it could be worse, they could be jobbers. WWE usually always pushes guys who were trained by legends or who have family that were part of the business. That's why Morishima would be pushed. He was trained by Harley Race. That's why London & Kendrick are pushed, they were trained by Shawn Michaels and Teddy, Harry & Nattie will be pushed because they have the Hart family name and WWE could do a lot with them. Not all indy guys are gonna be jobbers. After Punk did something and talk I hear about WWE wanting to do a new Hart Foundation I have hope that indy guys will do well in WWE.

Some of the fans on this board are extremely selfish "DON'T SIGN TO WWE KEEP WORKING THE INDIES" You gonna pay them more money when they finally get a family? In all fairness, Mark, ROH isn't in the field of independent contractors anymore. Sure they have guys who are free to do as they please. But they need house-hold names, ones they can secure, just like TNA has learned to do. So, I don't blame those who say not to go to TNA or WWE. Sure it's more exposure, but ROH isn't exactly abysmal. There's perks with having a contract exclusively to them. Think ECW almost, all to more appealing to the bigger fish who can't scoop them up.
