You are the constant Pennsylvania indy defender, that's why I brought it up. Clearly, you don't know wrestling if you think Pearce is an average worker. I'd have had no problem with ALBRIGHT either, but Pearce is available for the most dates to help build the title back up. ALBRIGHT will be back with NOAH and ROH as well as possible dates with IWA Mid-South so it will be tough for open dates. Makes sense. So who would be in the running at this point, like who will be his first opponent? It all depends on where Pearce is booked. As a travelling champion, he goes from town to town defending the belt. He really doesn't feud with anyone specifically. I'd have to look at Pearce's calendar to find out who he's working next. |

Damn, that belt is tiny, Its almost an exact replica of the NWA fig belt. Funny TNA must have kept the one they made. If I am correct, there is only one NWA Title, so the one TNA used is also the one in this picture. I may be wrong though. I can almost guarantee that they are the same size though if they are not the same belt. There was a different one before the 80's ( the current belt). and JCP/WCW changed it to the "Big Gold belt" that is the same that The Great Khali has on SD. Still say it should be defended in RoH |

If they get the belts off Pearce and Morishima, then yes, a NWA Champion vs. ROH Champion match would be good.

Danielson as ROH or NWA, and Albright as the other as they both would probably be in the running for either title. That match would pwn!

I don't know if that is the same belt that was used in TNA or not, but I know that there is more than one NWA world title. I know for a fact that Harley Race has one hanging in his office for his fed and wrestling school. Maybe they won a Figures, Inc. replica off eBay and used it for the tournament.  |

Danielson was the original one voted to win the NWA title. Infact before they ever pulled the titles from TNA, NWA was planning who would be holding the titles, and Danielson was the top pick. I have no stories to prove this, just stating what I have read and have been told a long time ago.
