I love Japanese wrestling, but don't really own much in the way of DVD's. I'm familiar with alot of the names I've heard on here and through ROH and other indy's. Where's a good place to start and get a good taste of most of the most popular names? I'm assuming NOAH, but which shows? Also is purodvd source the best place to buy.

A good way to start watching Puro? 1990s AJPW and 2007 New Japan. Both can be found on the link Jimmy Jack Hetfield just posted.

Because they don't have cover art is my guess... no boxes, no cover art.. and no middle man.. IVP is the "old school" of tape traders. even though IVP uses nice printed discs and everything, they are still a one or two person operation. therefore, they aren't paying wages to anyone, aren't having to hike high up from other traders, etc. |

I always wondered why IVP dvd's were so cheap. Thanks for clearing that up.
