I've been out of the indy loop for a while and want to get a taste of it again. What are some good ROH DVDs to pick up?

Well, assuming you want the best of the recent stuff, I'd definitely pick up:
Good Times, Great Memories
Driven
Death Before Dishonor V Night 1 (and Night 2 as well, but for certain Night 1)
Manhattan Mayhem II
Man Up
Glory By Honor VI Night 1 and 2
I definitely think that should give you a good idea of where the company is now with some of it's best shows and matches from this year.

Well, assuming you want the best of the recent stuff, I'd definitely pick up: Good Times, Great Memories Driven Death Before Dishonor V Night 1 (and Night 2 as well, but for certain Night 1) Manhattan Mayhem II Man Up Glory By Honor VI Night 1 and 2 I definitely think that should give you a good idea of where the company is now with some of it's best shows and matches from this year. Hit the nail right on the head. But tbh, a few more recent shows that are worth it would be both Japan shows. I own Live in Tokyo, great show, and I've heard the same for Osaka. |

I'd get Glory By Honor VI Night 2, Manhattan Mayhem II, Finale & ROH Liverpool. Finale has to be one of the best top to bottom shows I have ever seen and a show that I'd recommend way before Respect Is Earned, Driven, DBD night 1 and Good Times Great Mememories.. Those were all great shows but Finale & Liverpool are much better. I really don't understand why people say Respect Is Earned, in ROH's close to 6 years they have had much better shows and even if you're going for this year, they have had much better shows. If it wasn't ROH's first PPV I think no one would really care about it.
Those shows I named were probably the best top to bottom ROH shows this year.

Yeah I agree with Driven. Not as big of fan of the main event as others. I would deffinentely say get it. I liked the bonus disc matches more than the main event especially the Chris Hero matches. I have a question sort of similar only Best ofs.

Well Briscoes vs Castagnoli & Sydal and Marufuji vs Romero were both excellent matches. I don't do star ratings, they both were quality. Actually 'Mero-'Fuji is one of my favorite matches from the ROH PPV series. I'm just a huge fan of both so you can imagine how enamored I was. |

Those, IMO, are the best shows of 2007.
Respect Is Earned, and both Japan shows are ok, but not "must see" shows.
