Show sounds alright. I wonder how long Nigel will continue with the Cena gimmick before he completely turns on them. Anyone know how long he will be out?
AOTF wins? It should of happened earlier. They've lost some of their steam.
Puder? LAME.
I'm no diehard Steen/Generico, but what did they do to deserve such a de-push?
I might just be getting pissy, but why is NYC getting the 6th anni. show after getting 2 huge shows this weekend?

The show sounds pretty good. I will pick up the DVD because every NYC show is usually a hit. Stevens as FIP Champ though? Yuck. If Stevens weren't friends with Strong and Gabe he wouldn't be getting the push he's getting.

There really is no reason to have the anniversary show in NYC also.

Now, I love going to the Manhattan Center for ROH, as every show I have attended there has been great. However, I think they are kinda over doing it with the NYC shows.
Honestly, they really can't expect me to shell out the money for tickets every two months. As much as i'd like to, I just can't do that....
I understand the reasoning, but it almost seems like they put all their focus on New York and treat other markets as "second rate".

Edison really hasn't been getting the job done. Just look at the card on the 12th it's so bland. I can't afford every NYC show so I usually go to one and then skip the next one. There was no way I was going to the Manhattan shows this weekend only a few days after Christmas.

I dont think I'd care so much if Chicago would just get back the Trios Tournment in place of what happended earlier this month, but it sounds like its not a plan from ROH right now

And you already got plans to go 1/12 But I do agree that Gabe seriously has a boner for the Manhattan Center/NYC shows. I've enjoyed every Edison show I've been to which is all but 2 come may in the past 2 years. Still, it's obvious that it's a matter of being booked on a double-shot with a weaker opposing card. NYC is the new Chicago/Philly. Oh and before I forget, ROH should really increase in their market. I too just can't budget an ROH trip every 10 weeks. It's madness and overall hurts any other show plans not relating to ROH.

Detroit only gets one every 6 months or so it seems like.

Yeah, you know...big guy, funny mohawk, no in-ring ability whatsoever, doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as Roderick Strong? I think I covered that when I said "Erick Stevens?" Pretty much.

Yes, i'm going as well, but the show really doesn't look like anything special right now. Only match, at this point, that i'm really looking foward to is Aries/Claudio. Of course, it could end up being great and i'll have to eat my words...........Or it could turn into "Battle Of The Icons 2".

And you already got plans to go 1/12 I've got plans to go to Edison because I always get cheap tickets. I have enjoyed every Edison show myself(except for Battle Of The Icons) but the fact of the matter is NYC always gets the best shows and rightfully so. I plan on attending Edison because it's close and it's still worth the $10 but I'm not expecting much out of this upcoming show there. I mean Danielson vs Stevens? Come on now.

I have yet to hear a valid reason why NYC deserves to get all these shows.

It's nice to live so close to the venue. You're probably closer than I am, but Edison (for me) is only like a 15 minute drive. Plus, the tickets aren't expensive, so you really can't beat that. Though, I did finally buy front row for the first time for the January show. Kinda hoped i'd get a much better card...but I think Danielson can carry Stevens to a decent enough match. We'll see.... I have yet to hear a valid reason why NYC deserves to get all these shows. You really can't figure out why the company loves NYC so much?

The only reason I could really think of is all the marks eat up everything that happens in the building. Every match is four stars and every show is must see to them.

I'd like to think that the majority here feel star ratings are intellectually- disabled. I mean, that's an opinion... I could say Jeff Hardy had a great match, doesn't mean every one will agree or even give a once they know who I'm referring to. Point being, they're pointless. I'd rather hear extensive results that could be summed up in less words, before I willingly, and seriously, give a damn how many stars a match gets. Oh and as for driving, Every thing is 4-5 hours out of the way. NYC, Philly, Boston, Edison... Edison is less hectic than NYC, plus with familiarity, it's a safe and clean location.

AOTF ending the reign of the Briscoes seems a little underwhelming... doesn't seem right that Steen and Generico risked their lives to have classics with the Briscoes, only for AOTF to waltz in and take the belts. I'm interested to see how well AOTF follows the Briscoes though... hopefully Steen and Generico are next in line.

I was there both nights, and I must say, I marked out like a bitch when Jacobs and Black won. I could not believe it. Awesome shows both nights.
