If you can't appreciate a guy who works like a young Dr. Death Steve Williams then you really should just stop watching wrestling. Erick Stevens was and has been incredible in the ring for the last few months.
It's whiney internet fans who don't attend shows outside of one town who sit behind their computers who babble on and on and make themselves look absolutly stupid when the guys they complain about go out in front of 1500 people and tear the house down.
Stevens had the best weekend of his career, and people are still complaining. If you think Stevens/Danielson won't be any good, then stop watching pro wrestling.

I think his powerhouse style really suits him well, and he can go in the ring with some of the best ROH has to offer. I think Stevens will be a good FIP Champ. |

That kicks ass that they put the titles on Jacobs/Black. I would like to see them fued with Whitmer/Albright, or Generico/Steen.

Learn to accept them. If anyone is being a whiney internet fan it's you because you get hurt over others opinions on a MESSAGE BOARD! What does attending a show in one town have to do with anything? Not everyone is a GLF and can afford let alone want to go to every ROH show. That's what DVD's are for. I have DVD's from NYC, Edison, Philly, Dayton, Chicago, England, Detroit, Boston etc. Doesn't make me or anyone else any less of a fan than you. |

You really need to stop getting defended over people on the INTERNET. It makes it sound like you don't have much else to look forward to in life. The only people that are disrespectful fans are the fans that all wanted Nigel to win the title and then when he did they turn on him because he was injured PERFORMING FOR THE FANS! If I recall my response to Stevens was....Stevens as FIP Champ? Yuck. Nothing wrong there. ROH fans are some of the most disrespectful fans that make the wrestlers work harder to get the fans support only for them to turn on you in the end. That's what makes you less of a fan. Overall like I said the show looks really good but Stevens as FIP Champ is of no interest to be because quite frankly, ERICK STEVENS SUCKS! I'm so f'n sorry that I can't get into Erick Stevens... |

Yeah I'm not gonna even get in on this, but I strongly back UK on this one.
I mean, no balls to say so in person? So a fan just waits for the shows to speak their mind and come off like a bunghole looking to get themselves over?
See, I don't follow, I can understand that Stevens gets a lot of grief. However, this is not WWE brain-washing, the thing about the indy is it's like sampling food that was catered. It appeals differently to everybody. Either lack-luster or beyond expectations.
But you can't go off on some one's opinion.
I could say Danielson isn't the best in the world, and go with some mainstream name, like Angle or Michaels. That'd be my opinion, much like star ratings, no two minds think a like so it's preposterous to feel some body is insincere or out of line in approval or disapproval of a particular wrestler.
