I think you had a valid point up untill the last three names mentioned, and why. ROH should put forth an effort to keep the product fresh, but I'm quite fine with seeing Hero, and being spared Gran Akuma. Or Watching Danielson wrestle Aries, and not baring witness to a Heartbreak Express-Black Market, classic. Kudos on totally missing the point. Aries, Danielson, and Hero do not work FIP and if everyone from FIP worked ROH then you wouldn't see those 3 or several others. Am I suppose to say touche, even though you failed as well? The big gap you left in your explanation is that, you made it sound like you were saying, those three would take a backseat. Either way, I find it funny how defensive you are, moon-walking around my comment as if I was demeaning your post.

I really enjoy Erick Stevens. I do mark for the CHOO CHOO! like everyone else of course, but I think he brings a fresh new style and character to ROH. I equate him to a larger and more powerful Roderick Strong style-wise, which makes sense considering Roddy trained the dude. I agree; I do believe Erick earned his spot by busting his ass in FIP. But hey, it's not as if he killed Aries and Danielson his first weekend in. He's been there for about 10 months, worked hard, had a killer match with Morishima coming very damn close to winning, so it is very feasible that he would beat Roderick, Aries, and Danielson considering Morishima beat all three of them (at Domination, The Battle of St. Paul, and Manhattan Mayhem II/Man Up/Glory By Honor VI respectively.)
At least that's my logic.

I like him, sure he's not your prototypical ROH guy, but like Albright he brings a sort of old school power game that ROH hasn't had in a while. Kind of reminds me of when Hernandez was in ROH. I think it's all good in ROH.
